City officials earlier this month published a list of the biggest property-tax payers in Boston based on the value of their property, as part of City Hall's comprehensive annual financial report. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was poised to gain Monday morning at the start of trade after shares of Boeing Co. announced named Chairman David Calhoun as its chief executive and president, replacing Dennis Muilenburg, who has resigned. Shares of Boeing were climbing 3.1% in premarket action, which would contribute roughly 70 points to the price-weighted Dow, with Boeing one of the index's most influential components. A $1 move in any one of the 30 Dow components equates to a roughly 6.80-point swing. The aircraft maker said board member Lawrence Kellner will become non-executive chairman of he board with immediate effect. Muilenburg had come under pressure following the grounding of the company's 737 MAX fleet after two fatal accidents. Boeing Chief Financial Officer Greg Smith will serve as interim CEO during a brief transition period. Futures for the Dow rose 83 points, or 0.3%, at 28,566.
