Essential Energy Services Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, provides oilfield services to oil and gas exploration and production companies primarily in western Canada. The company operates through two segments, Essential Coil Well Service and Downhole Tools & Rentals. The Essential Coil Well Service segment offers well completion, and production and workover services through its fleet of coil tubing rigs, service rigs, fluid and nitrogen pumpers, and ancillary equipment. As of March 8, 2017, this segment operated through a fleet of 31 coil tubing rigs, 21 fluid pumpers, and 11 nitrogen pumpers. The Downhole Tools & Rentals segment provides production and completion tools for oil and natural gas wells; and engages in the rental of oilfield rental equipment to oil and gas producers, drilling contractors, service rig contractors, and rental companies. Essential Energy Services Ltd. is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
