I bought 60.5 Weekly Puts yesterday and they doubled today for a tidy profit. It's hard to tell, but there was a significant amount of these traded yesterday and if forced to guess I'd say something is coming since there are still plenty in OI. Personally, I'm not that brave nor greedy. G' luck...
ESRX should buy GoodRX (private co) to increase transparency & improve consumer reputation & maybe Diplomat to bolster specialty & mail order...
Now, what's wrong? Always something with this one.

Did anyone notice there is no time listed for the Shareholder meeting for Thursday 5/11/17. I called and received no reply concerning a time. Does anyone know what time the meeting is?

Anthem now claims they haven't decided on a PBM (though I doubt that will help ESRX stock price for a while until the hedgies cover their shorts). The plain fact is, Anthem can do it in-house and lose a ton of money in the attempt, go to United and deal with a competitor or go to CVS which could likely do a deal but the switching costs alone will cost a bunch. ESRX is the best fit for them but has preemptively taken the hit for no deal. As of today, Anthem has less leverage. My money is on ESRX in the mid-term and I'm staying long.
ESRX has three plus years to fill the Anthem hole with 4.2 billion of cash flow from the Anthem business. These guys accepted 4.5 billion upfront to buy back their own stock and now want the best rates from ESRX. ESRX could end up in a better position and good luck to CVS dealing with these guys. CVS is not going to save them anymore money than the deal they have right now with ESRX. Truly an irrational management team.
They have 3 years to make a deal this stock might open green tomorrow.
The have 3 YEARS to work this out
Wow, a hidden bombshell in the ER. ESRX practically is saying that their biggest client, Anthem, will not renew its contract... "not likely" is what they are actually saying.. Given that Anthem is about 30% of ESRX's current revenue, this is huge. JMO
Nice up for the year.
Market maker having a field day stealing money by rigging it up and down
Now that I got used to ESRX losing Anthem (and paying the price with a lower stock price) I would rather see ESRX walk away from this crummy client.
ESRX is kind enough to provide EBITDA comparison with and without Anthem in the ER. Although Anthem counts just 17% of total revenue, EBITDA difference is about 27%, if I am reading this right. This implies that Anthem was not only the biggest revenue, but more profitable (fatter margins) client. This means slimmer margins in the future as well. That is earnings hit will be bigger. JMO, I could be wrong, of course, and I would like to see any opposing view. Anyone?
Who needs insurance companies any way?
Anthem is trying to do maximum damage to ESRX stock, and it is working.
