Gas prices won't spike? I just drove from DC to Florida yesterday. Stopped at a gas station and filled up for 2.51 a gallon (regular). Went inside to get a coffee, came back out and they sign was changed to 2.79 a gallon! 28 cents in a matter of minutes... I think this is going to be like the pandemic toilet paper scenario for a few days... smile...

After colonial pipeline shutdown, nobody wants to shut down DAPL. Americans begin to realize how important pipelines are. That means ET will go up faster.

wait until speculators get hold of ET. here is perhaps another chance to make couple $billion from the competitors pipeline shutdown. Here we have a company with real assets decreasing debt , increasing cash flow, paying over 6% in dividends and soon to increase that. ET share price is more than doubling soon.

Morningstar raised their Fair Value for ET to 18.50.

Fair Value and Profit Drivers | by Travis Miller Updated May 07, 2021
We are raising our fair value estimate to $18.50 per unit from $18 after incorporating a $2.4 billion net gain during the mid-February winter storm in Texas. Year-to-date results are in line with our expectations, and we are reaffirming our long-term outlook.

We incorporate a $1.50 per-unit deduction related to the Enable transaction based on the 0.8595 unit exchange ratio. The all-equity deal will give Enable unitholders nearly three times the number of units we think is fair based on our Energy Transfer valuation and Enable's market price.

We continue to expect $10.9 billion of consolidated EBITDA excluding storm benefits in 2021, at the high end of management's guidance range. Energy Transfer's core business is reaping the earnings and cash from the SemGroup acquisition and large projects like the Rover gas pipeline, midstream expansions, and NGL fractionation expansions that finished in 2018 and 2019. The Ted Collins oil pipeline and a large group of NGL investments should keep growth above 3% in 2021-22.

We expect NGL operations to contribute more than one fourth of consolidated EBITDA in 2021 and continue growing, albeit slowly. Less favorable market conditions in Texas eliminates what we thought would be near-term upside with its intrastate network. Excluding Enable, we think EBITDA will struggle to reach $11.5 billion by 2024 based on Energy Transfer's shrinking growth investment outlook.

A sharp drop-off in identified growth investment opportunities likely will slow long-term growth. Barring any new large growth projects, we expect earnings and cash flow to grow less than 2% on a normalized basis even with the Enable assets.

We continue to include a $1 per unit deduction based on a 50% probability that courts will force a permanent shutdown of the Dakota Access pipeline.

We assume a 9% cost of equity and a 7.3% cost of capital in our discounted cash flow valuation.
    Bullish

It is a buying opportunity. The colonial cyber attack scares investors but soon they realize how important pipelines are. I am confidant DAPL won’t ever be shut down.

Well,.. finally. At $10 (and considering the distribution paying on the 17th) I will break even. Been buying since '16 and have never sold any. It's been a bumpy ride.
