    1. I worked for this company in 2017 and still have all my RSUs. I am the guy who piped up in a staff meeting and convinced them to do the 2017 stock buyback.

    2. Solid management team. Josh Silverman turns everything to Gold.

    3. At a $34billion market cap, it is gaining on eBay and could go to $800/share without feeling any kind of pain, $1000/share if it makes the right acquisitions.

    4. Etsy could swallow up Michael's stores and JoAnn Fabric and not even have indigestion, but supercharge its earnings at its current P/E ratio (I emailed management about this idea along with a financial model. They have not acted on it yet)

    5. I've got an MBA in finance and know my stuff. Best time to buy this stock is any day ending in 'y'.

People who missed out and sold will always come up with multiple reasons to bash a company. I’m holding NVDA too and many people come up with absolutely bs reasons as to why the stock is going to fall. Same here for ETSY. I am super excited to see how ETSY is going to grow in the coming years. The stock may be a little overvalued now, but here’s my usual advice: time in the market > timing the market.

Price target raised. When I grow up I want to be an Analyst.
It is like being a meteorologist. If it is raining I can say it's going to rain.
I can be wrong 90% of the time and still have a job.
Etsy has a LONG way to run.
Don't fall for the weather person's guess.

Etsy’s business model is based on soaking sellers, selling products on Etsy's platform, by overcharging through taking a % of the cost of shipping & forced advertising - with virtually no support! Here is one seller who looks forward to continued increased competition via Amazon Facebook & others. Their categories are luckily being copied by Amazon, Facebook & others.

I recall when Cramer said Carvana was way over valued and
    scream not to buy.
Was at $40 and is now over $300
Don't listen to this chat room.
Etsy is one of my marketplaces and has outsold Ebay and Amazon by leaps and
    bounds and keeps on increasing.

big corrections are coming. Target, Walmart all had supply chain issues and ETSY would have more problem for small sellers

Etsy insiders have sold shares totalling $21 Million already in 2021 Q4. Only 664 K sold in all of 2019 Q4. My point is that appears to be a record, in fact ~35 times Q4 ‘19. And we are only 1/3 through Q4…. Would indicate insiders feel Etsy is overvalued.

Today bears are crying and margin calls are smiling :O

Why? Because bears genuinely thought online stocks would be dead, and failed to understand covid merely created a new trend in stay at home for the very long run.

We are somewhat sorry (insert lie) for the perriAnal lacerations shorts will suffer, but we hear Lions Den is running a special on lube.

I'm in. The key metric for this company is gross merchandise sales, which was incredible, and they guided up for that metric, adding a conservative or sandbag revenue number. ETSY is profitable with great margins, which is more than what you can say for many of the much higher market cap tech stocks.

As a holder for years and promoter (feel free to read comments) I feel enticed both to take profit and to hold. I love this company long term regardless if the Depop acquisition works out but I'm very excited and/or concerned to get more details on how the acquisition is materializing and how long it will take to be accretive. I think I'm trimming shares and adding some upside options. Ark/woods also bought in around $160 and at some point those players will take profit. Any thoughts from other long termers? No this is not a short ploy. The answer as why I wouldn't hold if I'm a long termer is I don't want to take another hit like the $230 to 160 drop and like to keep my cash working.

Big gains because life post covid lockdowns is not the death kneel of online stocks, yet a permanent trend shift. We are patiently waiting for ETSY to announce share split :) perhaps 400 area.

    Sorry for your short
