All good stuff coming lately! There's a lot of progress being made. They are building a solid company. Market is being stubborn about the shares but ELMS has all the elements to become successful. And as we all know they are ahead of everyone in their sector and have first mover advantage. We should do really well here.

spreading my EV investment into $PTRA, $ZEV and $FIII which will become ELMS next week. one or all of them will be winners in the commercial EV business

According to Marshall and David (co-CEOs of FIII) all proposed measures for the merger PASSED. The CEOs final message on the call: "Now let's go make some trucks."

When do the shares turn to ELMS?
  • D
Trading in FIII is quite strange the past few days. It is behaving like it wants to pull a ZEV. The big surprise difference is that management has been buying stock. They may have bought more again today. That definitely brings confidence into this stock. It would be great if this turned out to be a EV winner for once! We shall soon find out what the short term will bring.

Jun 21, 2021--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Forum Merger III Corporation (Nasdaq: FIII, FIIIU, FIIIW) ("Forum" or the "Company") and Electric Last Mile, Inc. ("ELMS") today announced that Forum’s management team purchased approximately $4.9 million, or 500,000 shares, of Forum’s common stock on the open market.

"This additional investment in Forum ahead of our business combination with Electric Last Mile, Inc. is a testament to our confidence in ELMS’ future as a leader in the commercial electric vehicle industry," said a member of the Forum management team. "With an expected first-mover advantage and seasoned leadership team, we believe ELMS is strongly positioned to redefine the last mile industry and we look forward to supporting their efforts. As we approach the close of the business combination, we continue to be excited for the future of ELMS."

If management buying 500,000 shares in the open market isn't a vote of confidence, I don't know what is. This company is looking better and better. The announcement of Class 3 is another sign of them going in the right direction - growth is coming. Let the bozos sell. Hard to say what is truly going on with the market but as investors we should be looking at the long run. Hedgies, if they are indeed shorting this, will be irrelevant over time when significant sales roll in.

$FIII $FRX merger vote today. Good luck.

Been elsewhere last quarter figured I would drop back in. Why is this still so quiet? I found this while DD another investment and was in. My DD gives me serious speculation.
This company is in van country. many custom vans came from this area. generational skilled labor abounds the region.
Class 3 gets us to class C in a Rv. An E-RV is my speculation.
I am buying to hold long in Am. Just curious if anyone else thought the same?

Electric Last Mile, Inc. today announced eight new additions to its global leadership team in the areas of engineering, operations, marketing, business development and sales.

ya think they had to buy $5M of stock between them?

The redemption rights expire after today so that is what the down move was about (my guess). It recovered on management buying shares in support.

    $18 by Friday

Should have bought Ford instead of triple fail fiii

Kudo to management team. It will support $10 and above price after merger. Anyone thinking to short after merger be carful.

The EV sector is down again today but it looks like a bear raid on FIII shares before the merger to close short positions; maybe some institutions also trying to get in on the cheap. Bizarre. There's certainly no fundamental reason for it. All recent news from the co. is positive.
  • B
I just voted. All is well.
And I bought another 1000 shares.
