Heads up! Company is 100'% driven by transactional numbers. Refinancing is DEAD and not coming back for many years. Mortgage demand hit a 22 year low YESTERDAY. (I don't know if that meant 2,000 or 1,999, but it does not bode well, either way.) I got out a week or two ago for those anticipated reasons. PLEASE..... take care of your own best interests,

This company takes advantage of down real estate markets to buy up good companies like Allfirst. I like how this acquisition puts them into new markets in the southwest, including more farm and ranching expertise.

There is no escaping that our revenues and profits will be down on next week's earning report. That is a function of the slowdown on real estate sales and near elimination of refinance transactions. Our EPS and PE are so attractive that I am not concerned. We will pop back up within 18 months or so, IMO.

Disastrous results. So, watch it go up in the a.m. Mostly all dishonest short covering rallies. The markets have turned into one big mess.

I didn't want to, but I sold my position this morning. I am (sadly) convinced that FNF will see a steep sell off when their ER is released on Tuesday. Sharp decline in residential transactions will be trigger an adverse reaction on Wall Street, IMO.

    Q4 is out. Key highlights:

Fidelity National Financial press release (NYSE:FNF):
    Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $2.16 beats by $0.53.
    Revenue of $4.8B (+27.3% Y/Y) beats by $1.59B.

    Am I missing something?

    $8 EPS
    $33 BV
    4 billion cash
    3 billion debt..

While a 4% dividend is a logical price point, based on the typical stock market why is this so low? It seems anything with that kind of EPS and way less cash would typically trade 50% higher at least.

Fundamentals in comparison to the stock market, this would seem to he a $100+ stock, but it's not.

So I'm seriously wondering what the missing bit is here? There must be a negative I'm not seeing?

Honestly don't understand the steady SP decline here, PE 5.70, FNF has beat EPS est. for the last eight quarters, with 2Q21 EPS est. blowout @ +$.64, and Barclays recently adjusted Price Target to $63 From $58, Keeps Overweight Rating. 🤔

I don't consider FNF to be a "financial" stock. To me it is a pure real estate play. Pretty much ALL real estate transactions (residential, commercial and refinance) require title insurance and closing services. Great returns with minimal risks.

Why would anyone sell this now just because there down doesn’t make sense to me. Just add at this price range and lower your cost base, collect the dividends while you wait for capital gains, unless you need the money next month selling seems to be a mistake.

Pretty quiet here. I bought at $49.60 and am figuring on a double in two years. In the mean time I will enjoy the dividend and be payed for patience.

The rapid rise of retain earnings is a great sign. 2.394 billions are in retained earnings shows the financial strength of FNF.
