  • Amazing! Dearth of volume in FOLGF vs. FO.V & FOG.l must be due to lack of analyst coverage and poor flow of news under the OTC ticker.
So far today: Volume is 119,524
    Avg. Volume 655,841

U.S. holders might check http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?page=1&ShareTicker=FOG for more info.

Why they are not required to announce timely news in the U.S. is beyond me. News should have this trading above the recent high of $ .36 and well on its way to historic highs, when there was nothing but BS to propel the stock. Once the moratorium is lifted, Beetaloo alone should send this stock several dollars higher.

  • Does anyone know if this is the same Falcon oil/gas that Marc Bruner is involved in??
I searched the company website but didn't see him.
    Thank you
  • Agreed. Volume is an important factor. Here are a few other considerations:

    1. Hungary assets won't probably add to share price.

    2. Obviously, the NT/Aus moratorium is 'restraining' a much higher & more immediate share price rise.
The NT Background & Issues paper details the pertinent facts. It appears that the 'draft' of the final report won't be completed until Fall 2017. An 'interim' report should be out by mid-year, and the final report hopefully by year-end 2017.

    3. We haven't seen any formal announcements re Karoo in South Africa (see link below). The Falcon website stated they anticipated the issuance of the license in 2016, which did not occur. Is it possible that licensing might be approved soon and that Karoo will push the stock price sooner than the lifting of the fracking ban in NT?

This is a lengthy video that sheds some light on the SA subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uinZwJRL-Ss

    4. Unfortunately for U.S. holders of FOLGF there is a dearth of current news on the company found under this ticker symbol. I was recently led to http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=FOG. There is some intelligent discussion here, although you might need to use an adequate filter.

When news of the 'possible or likely' opportunities is actually disseminated to the investment communities, analysts won't be far behind and the share price in the U.S & Canada should begin trading with at least a single digit to the left of the decimal point.

If anyone has any additional sources of factual information, please post them.

  • Interesting volume today...in the US and overseas markets. nice to see some movement over the last month or two.
  • So, after volume follows price...looks like this might be ready to go up a little more. sounds like some decent news coming out of the inquiry...and there a plenty of benefits for the NT gov't/people. just my opinion of course.

  • Don't know what happened to yesterday's post, but thought it was worth re-posting considering the comments at the end of the test results:

it is interesting to note that in Origin's opinion "the Marcellus and Barnett Shales in the USA are analogous, commercially-productive fields that are similar to the Middle Velkerri B Shale reservoir."

These two fields are huge. The Marcellus natural gas trend, which encompasses 104,000 square miles and stretches across Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and into southeast Ohio and upstate New York, is the largest source of natural gas in the United States, and production was still growing rapidly in 2013. The Marcellus is an example of shale gas, natural gas trapped in low-permeability shale, and requires the well completion method of hydraulic fracturing to allow the gas to flow to the well bore.

As of 2007, some experts suggested that the Barnett Shale might have the largest producible reserves of any onshore natural gas field in the United States. Further, oil industry advocates claim that by 2015 the Barnett Shale may be responsible for more than 108,000 jobs. Employment opportunities could be a key factor in repealing the current NW Territory moratorium on On 14 September 2016, the Northern Territory Government introduced a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing,

Without going through the entire history of Falcon O & G, here's the short version for newer investors.
The company originally was founded and run by the typical penny stock speculators around the end of 2001. Checking the charts, it traded as high as $o.60 in May '05. On May 1, 2006 BEFORE the company had any 'real' assets, aside from their BS, the stock traded as high as $6.24. The highest it traded since then was @ $1.23, again in a May-June period.
New leadership, key partnerships and large investors seem to have been real positives, BUT yesterday's Beetaloo Basin test results alone show some HUGE potential for FOLGF.

There are obviously still risks associated, but even today's $0.15 intra-day high is a small percentage of the potential asset value without crediting any value for the South African or Hungarian assets. How high this stock can run is anyone's guess, BUT considering the past stock price highs ($6.24) when there were few real assets, this should only be the beginning of a huge run or possible takeout. What's holding this stock at $0.15 (today's high) from quickly becoming $15? Unfortunately this stock has very few legitimate analysts and even fewer IR folks telling its story..
  • My..my..looks like little Falcon Oil and Gas has found itself with a boatload of potential product and profit.
  • Popping up.A break of 0.08 could move it up to -.0934 in short term. http://www.allotcbb.com/quote.php?symbol=FOLGF

  • So why the big sell today. no news is new. nice buying opportunity her as I see it.
