KKR has great reputation and can raise capital globally. It is a smaller version of BlackRock and has great souce of funds.

FSK and FSKR to merge. Just got the voting info on this in the mail. Seems like shareholders will probably lose again if history repeats itself... Thoughts?

    $FSKR conversation
$FSK and $FSKR are at the same book value as of Q4 - so the merger ratio will be 1:1

An excerpt from SEEKING ALPHA on FSK this explains things to me about their growth stages.
Quote: After 2.5 years of restructuring, FS/KKR is finally set to complete its final move and merge FSK and FSKR forming a BDC behemoth.
This comes after FSKR's introduction to the NYSE and its rocket performance in 2020.
The new FSK's mega-monster portfolio will have a value close to $14B.
Investors will find a company with a solid opportunity for a 12% dividend and potential equity increases as the market start to recognize and correct FSK's historical NAV discount.

I think you propably know this bit of information, but if you don't here it is. FSK and FSKR are going to merge. The deal has been approved, and will take place sometime in the 2nd or 3rd Qtr. of this year. The synergy of bring these two as one entity will save operating expenses, and directly focus the direction of the company. The surviving entity once combined will trade under the FSK symbol.....it will be one of the largest BDC's on the market when the deal is done. I think the new company will be good for at least a 20% to 30% jump in share price before the year ends. I read this tidbit four months ago and started a new position in FSK last November after a little investigation into the company. I own five other BDC's in my porfolio, all have been a great dividend income source, with capital growth. I am retired making 12% to 18% from my investments, mostly BDC's, high yield Preferred shares bought below par, Master Limited Partnerships, Reits, and select oil and gas services. My view point is, these people are professional money managers who often have their own money in the game sharing the risk with the other investors. I am already up 12% on FSK and expect to hold long term for a total return above 25% after the first year. I chart all my monthly dividend income down to the last dollar, and know almost exactly how much income I will receive each month. FSK will be a winner, it will take off after they combine the two.....currently FSK is trading right now At $19.00 / .60 cent dividend and FSKR at $18.15 / .55 cent dividend. I expect to see this trade by the fourth quarter at $23 to $24 with a .80 to .88 cent = $3.20 + dividend at the years end yield about 13.4%.
Currently they are paying out a combined $1.15 per quarter in dividends from both stocks....$4.60 a year, it's hard to believe they can't squeak out .85 cents somehow from the $1.15 they are already paying?
I like this stock going forward ...GLTA
Back up the truck and BUY on the dips is my advice, I bought 1175 shares. My advisor frowns on me holding more than 2.5% of my portfolio total stock value in any single stock. I am going for 3% on this stock. Needless to say, I am BULLISH on FSK's future combined company with FSKR. I bought another 200 shares today under $18.85. GLTA

My advice on any stock, or investment......don't listen to me, or UNCLE! Consult a professional fiduciary financial advisor, he or she must work for your best financial interest. You can thank me 10 years from now.

The poor bot has flamed out on another board, FSK going to zero, TSLA going BK, CRM going in the toilet. Market just will not listen to this bot. Yahoo is dumping more and more of its posts, soon will be gone.

I don't know the long history of this stock going back 2 years or so.....It was trading above $35 and higher with a steady down trend after 2017? What was going on back then??? Just last year on 2/17/20 the price was $24.96 and then the Covid Virus Struck the world. It appears the stock was leveling off after a 18 months down trend, but like I said, I don't know the past history. I owned several other BDC's during that same time frame that survived, and I made money on, and still own them today. The two year history still concerns me showing that sharp down trend prior to the Covid crash early March 2020. Joining the two company into one is a smart move, and may be the answer to the whole mess. I believe this will return back to the $25 per share price later this year, and with a higher dividend. What is your opinion?

On a happy note, my friends at Yahoo tell me they are slowly deleting the bots and the posts that go with them. I did note they have wiped out 5,000 or so posts of the bot "uncle".

I do have to commend the handlers of the bot, they drove the price up from $16 to $19 a share in a week. Very nice upward move on a stock they are "shorting". Something else going on here.

Did everyone get a chance to worship the golden calf at the CPAP conference? I call it CPAP, because it's mainly geriatric white guys.
