When it comes to the world of trade and investments, most people don't know where to start. Fortunately, great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance. You might want to ask, who are the great investors to guide us?

Lithium is becoming non-discretionary stuff. With gas prices going nuts people need solar panels in combination with lithium-ion batteries. That's the only way to survive these days. LTHM is a profitable company with high margins and nearly no debt. They have smashed the guidance in Q1 and are currently trading lower than before the Q1 ER. The stock is a strong buy at the current price levels. Check out also $CSIQ and $FSLR, which are fundamentaly strong manufacturers of solar panels

Simple question: I own both FSLR & ENPH
As I understand it, both of these are American solar companies.
So why is FSLR down 4% & ENPH up 6% ?

While on the surface, the news today looks bad for FSLR, but the actual effects are less than the stock price is reflecting today. FSLR is basically sold out for the next two years, and the moratorium is for two years on the possible retroactive tariffs on the four Southeast Asia countries. The real problem that the moratorium solves is solar projects that had been FID will not be exposed to retroactive tariffs. If that problem had not been solved, the FID projects would not be built. Business plans can’t get financing if return on investment could be negatively impacted by retroactive tariffs. The tariffs on the Southeast Asia countries can still be enacted if the inquiry shows China is guilty of circumventing their tariffs by selling cells to Southeast Asia manufacturers.

Take a look at ticker ILUS as well my fellow investors, they are uplisting in 2022. ILUS is a little over a year old and has been profitable every quarter.
    ILUS Q1, 2022 revenue is up 482% over Q1, 2021
ILUS just announced a 100-million dollar plus in revenue acquisition.
This news came out of Yahoo Finance on 5/25/2022.
In addition to this large acquisition, ILUS has just announced that they have acquired Wikisoft, ticker WSFT. WSFT is now a member of the ILUS family.
ILUS manufactures EV's, UAV's, and Drones to name a few of their many business endeavors. They are an M & A company and growing fast.
ILUS holds patented firefighting / safety technology as well.
ILUS has completed "8" acquisitions in the last 16 months. Vira Drones is one of the more recent. The expected valuation is over 1 billion dollars.
ILUS is also reducing their number of outstanding shares by 180 million shares, in addition to all the other excellent news they have recently released. Please see OTC Markets for their most recent share reduction that has been posted. They always do what they say they will do, always.
ILUS International has also entered into a massive agreement with the European Union and will begin manufacturing a variety of vehicles including those used by the military and defense sectors in Europe, as well as the private sector.
Phase one of this contract has just recently been announced. Phase two will follow soon. ILUS is certainly worth a look.
(Please see Yahoo Finance for recent news & updates)

Sounds like the Ohio plant is about to come on line. FSLR is also working with Sun Power to produce a state-of-the-art efficiency residential panel. That would be big business.

I have 4KW of FSLR panels in an experimental system at home and I like them due to the absence of a metallic frame so that eliminates some grounding issues.

A price recovery may be underway

Don't panic. This company is way undervalued. If it was $100 it would still be undervalued and I would not sell. Energy directly from the sun is the most attractive energy. Even though oil is at a high price most countries are trying to reduce their dependence on oil for 3 reasons Pollution, Climate change, and Russia. Wind and solar is the future converted into electricity.

Countries are prepared to pay more for clean energy rather than pay Russia for oil.

First Solar is trading at almost book value which is ridiculous and have no debt and a Billion free cash.
    About $150 is comming .

    Don't think of selling .

I will add my two-pennorth to the manipulation discussion. I also notice FSLR goes up and down in a fairly long cycle on no new information as if something was driving it up and dowm deliberately.
I would say OK, if you thing there is a deliberate cycle, jump on board and trade it. Buy near the bottom of the channel and sell near the top.

Sometime you wonder why a particular stock is trading at a low value and it seems to hover around that value for a long time. My only expiation is that many people buy and sell sticks on a hunch without considering the fundamentals. My view on FSLR is no matter what way you look at it , it must have a bright future.

Oil is skyrocketing and after gaining record bookings, even today as in many past sessions, this stock has plunged to indecent price levels thanks to a handful of stocks that have been sold off. From the highs reached by First Solar on November 1 and Apple on January third, respectively, the former lost 48% and the latter only 18% after soaring steadily since 2007, the year of First Solar's IPO. I have no words to express my disgust at how greedy and immoderate are the speculators who have planned to destroy the confidence of us small investors that we have done what we could to support renewable energy. Beyond the profit, nothing.

Can somebody smarter than me explain how a company misses revs by $225 million yet beats eps by a penny while keep margins the same? Asking for a friend, haha.
