Betting against FTCH is betting against e-commerce. And that’s why I am LONG.

Market is down overall, won’t matter long term.

Why is Zack always publishing that kind of article about FTCH prior to earnings?
  • j
Going to wait till earnings. Another miss at this market might not be good.
  • B
    Why the continued downward momentum?
  • W
What will impress most shareholders and future investors is Farfetch’s ability to scale fast without any additional capital given that it has a marketplace model. If they smash forecasts in Q1 2021 and again in Q2 2021, then the share price will almost certainly head to $100 by the end of summer 2021

Can anyone here tell me why I should choose FTCH instead of MYTE? They are competitors and MYTE is profitable.

I’ll wait and pick up more at 35-38 if I get lucky…

    Better buy after earning

    Zacks Consensus Estimate
This company is expected to post quarterly loss of $0.48 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -100%.
Revenues are expected to be $456.3 million, up 37.7% from the year-ago quarter.

Farfetch is cheap. Blowout sales growth and earnings growth are coming in a few weeks. Time is on Farfetch’s side. Every quarter, it grows secularly

News of new share blocks on offer is depressing postmarket action in a few names linked to the Archegos Capital fiasco.
ViacomCBS is lower after hours (VIAC -3.5%) on media reports that there's a 34M-share block on offer from Credit Suisse; Vipshop Holdings (NYSE:VIPS) is down 4.1% amid reports of its own 14M share block on offer at the investment bank, and Farfetch Limited down 3.7% with its own 11M share block.

Price action on this is such a mess every day. Long term will be nice but by god

Anyone got the latest institutional ownership after the Archegos dump? Curious to see how much Morgan Stanley + Goldman still own. Hopefully institutional ownership is still high

Happy to keep buying Farfetch below $60

FTCH looks like a decent stock to me but I have several concerns: this stock is free cash flow negative although that appears like that will no longer be the case in the coming years and it's also EBITDA negative and net income negative, although gross margins look healthy. I believe this company will eventually be profitable but my concern is how this company will do with all the factors I mentioned with rising rates. Concerning to me is the large increase in debt in 2020 over previous years: of course increasing debt by itself doesn't tell you much unless you know the reason: I was hoping someone on here could tell me why debt skyrocketed in 2020. This company has taken it on the chin since early February and rates are not doing going up either. With all the factors I mentioned in addition to FTCH having a beta of 3.53, I am concerned near term for FTCH...long term I think owning this company makes a lot of sense but it would seem to me that rising rates create an extremely rocky environment for a name like this.

Has CS dumped all the shares already?

Farfetch is a $100 stock in the summer and a $120 stock by year end

Can't wait for earnings. What do we think?
