Zero expense ratio and performs very well even though this is a self-Fidelity index fund and not one from S&P or CRSP Tot Stk Mkt. It's possible this Fidelity index could lag SP or CRSP indexed versions. Also, when you buy Fidelity Zero funds you can't transfer them if you leave Fidelity, you would have to sell them.
    Bullish

I hope this fund stays around. I have this one and Vanguards VTI, they track almost identical if not the same, put the kids in this one since its 0% fees for the long run. I'm glad Fidelity finally came out with their own S&P 500 index fund.

$65 received today, I put that $65 into $FZROX! Using the cashflow from this to buy quality assets

once this has been in for 2-3 more year.. it will be in the $40-60s range. some similar ones from Vanguard are in the $200-300s range

FZROX has 66 pages of holdings on latest monthly report. FNILX has 16. But both have the same top 10 holdings. Their holdings are not almost identical, FNILX is a Large Cap Fund so only holds large cap assets. FZROX is a total market fund and holds Large, Med and Small Cap assets. Take a minute and look at the prospectus directly.

Buying and holding $FZROX for the long term. Any small amount of passive income per month goes into this fund along with $FZILX. Perfect pair for the Roth. Let’s build wealth slowly and surely by addressing the total returns of the global markets. Let’s go!!
    Bullish

started a 52 week challenge to 10k this week. rather than depositing the $ into a bank i will be buying FZROX weekly. BETTER RETURN than the half a percent the banks are paying!

Have this in my Roth IRA as well as the vanguard star fund. Really impressed with them both. Question, would FZROX be a good choice in a regular taxable account? I have high yield savings account at 0.40% but always looking for better alternatives. I'm a noob to investing.

How often does this pay a dividend? Quarterly or yearly?

I keep looking at this fund and wonder if I should sell. Then I look at my average cost and the top holdings and come to my senses. Not a large percent of my gambling portfolio so let it roll.

Young investors do your homework. the statement “I hate FB and want to pick my own companies” is scary. I hope you know what you are doing before doing ANY INVESTING. What’s FB. Got to do with mutual funds or ETF fund holdings?
