Love it, it goes down and then I can double the number of shares I got, and it hasn't hit bottom yet. Holding what I got and waiting for the bottom. I am a bottom feeder! My goal is to have 100K shares before the lights come on at the 1st plant and fuel starts rolling out in trucks. All stock investments are risky, but this one in particular is worth it. That's why their is 35 percent institutional holdings, and the institutions are not dumping their holdings. Neither am I! So keep selling your shares folks to help me get to 100K, and 2 to 4 years from now I'll buy you all a cup of coffee in the Swiss Alps!

Be careful with this company, it currently has 675 million dollars in cash, in addition to its plants in Luverne and Silsbee. The current value of the company is 709 million. That means an additional 5% down and Gevo would be costing less than your free cash. I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense, but I don't think a business is going to shrink to less than its cash, even when the market is awful. I will take the risk of investing 30 thousand dollars tomorrow in this stock that additionally has a 75% discount from its maximum of 14 dollars per share

unfortunately, development stage companies are being valued at near zero.
after the next ER there will be more selling IMO. Only real progress and actual partnerships will get it going. The partnerships will require shares and that is why I voted YES on the share authorization

1300 shares at $1.30 I’ve held over a year. Saw it go up to $15 and did not sell. I’m still going to hold. Brighter future is coming.

I am probably as irritated as everyone else invested in this stock. And I definitely regret not selling at $14. But when you take away the usual trolls, discount the emotions out of it, and look at the bigger picture, you see the highly volatile market environment of the past year, and the rut green energy sector has found itself in. While a price breakout and large sum of profits would have been nice, I hope we do realize that it will be a while before we see that with this company.

The positive, on the other hand, is the continued interest Gevo has been seeing, and the continued investments it has been making to expand operations. The day I will become concerned is the day the start divesting and closing plants permanently.

Of course, yes, there too, is always a risk of much worse and ultimately failure with trailblazers in new fields. That is a major risk we take on when investing in Gevo as opposed to an established company/business model.

    My $.02.

AKA, if it were bonds, it wouldn't count as cash, but as a liability. Check the cash and liabilities of the company. I had forgotten to consider the passive. Even so, the company borders on 600 million cash assets + its plants. I don't want to be too optimistic, but your plants must be worth between 100 and 200 million. And we can not deny that this mackerel has cutting-edge technology. Besides, I only share my opinion, this length can go wrong, but I think it's time to risk my 30k in this company. We don't know if we reach its values at the beginning of 2021, we don't know if it will reach the target price of the analysts, but above 6.5 USD per share if I see it quite likely, this is going to have a violent rebound, tomorrow the contracts of options, on Wednesday Powell comes out to tell us that interest rates will rise by 0.25% and then on January 27th The increase in authorized shares will be accompanied by sweet promises.

Is anyone voting FOR the dilution of shares? To give management more money to play with, give themselves a pay raise for poor performance of stock price? Going to be interesting to see how many vote against this.

There's a lot of dismal people in this Yahoo chat room for GEVO. My question to you is why did you invest in this stock? If you are a longterm investor this stock hasn't came close to hitting how high it will go in price. I honestly believe people expected these plants to materialize over night. So all of these people invested their money, price stock went down, and now they are unhappy cause the plants have not been built yet. There is no patience at all. GEVO is going to be one of the biggest green energy companies in the market someday and if you wait and quit looking at Yahoo chat everyday, forget about it, and go about your everyday life before you know it that day will be here. Go worry about something else, plant a garden, do something to increase the value of your home. Get a hobby. Do something, but quit worrying and listening to these bafoons in this chat room that are negative about GEVO stock, they are the ones shorting the stock to make profit. Short days will die in time, longterm investors always make more in the market. You are welcome for this advise and it's free, no cost to you!

So sad to see the green sector free falling! Thought investing in the reason of mankind would be a no-brainer😉, but apparently we are not so interested in saving ourselves. The entire sector has been dessimated this last year, even wind and solar.

Anyone who actually knows what they are investing in with GEVO knows that they won’t make profit for another 2+ years. They have these billions of dollars in contracts, all dependent on them fulfilling their end of the contracts by being able to construct their plants and produce their product as promised. A lot of things have to go as planned as far as the company meeting its own goals, but it is in a PHENOMENAL position especially with cash on hand
