Investors, keep in mind General Mills is in Minnesota, a real, potential flip to the Republicans in November. If Trump wins, you better take a look at the five year chart now. General Mills took a deep dive after crooked Hillary lost the election. On the other hand, it could reach its highs like when Dems were convinced Hillary Clinton would win. Ahhhh, the good days when Dems cried.

Market doesn't give these food companies much love as far as higher stock prices. I liked khc investor day, thought CPB earnings were ok and now GIS. Can't seem to get the multiple of a PG. Seems to me this pandemic is a good opportunity for these food staples to advertise, market, and try to keep there new business from restaurant's. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the business and it expand on it. Many restaurants are closing. See if these companies can take advantage of this on a longer term.

IMO it's well positioned in growing areas (pets and food at home), plus nice increasing dividend and earnings beat. What else could you ask for?

Invest in General Mills and think of it as a long term savings account. Glad to see the dividend increase. Us long term holders finally will begin to see our investment begin to grow/compound again like the old days. This is a very well run company, that has ALWAYS focused on returning to the shareholders. And let's not forget, folks gotta eat.

Looks like the news is good, just bought another batch. Earnings will be up & dividends are just around the corner. Unless the market tanks this will be safe money

So market gurus are we closer to 52 or 62 at the end of the week? I’m not optimistic closer to 52 is my guess although there are plenty of companies that are losing money hand over fist but have higher pe and market cap
