Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") today upgraded the ratings of Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A ("Gol"), including the corporate family rating ("CFR") to B1 from B2 and the rating of Gol Finance's perpetual notes guaranteed by Gol and Gol Linhas Aereas S.A. to B2 from B3. At the same time Moody's assigned a B2 rating to the proposed up to $350 million senior exchangeable notes due 2024 to be issued by Gol Equity Finance and guaranteed by Gol and Gol Linhas Aereas S.A. Moody's also affirmed at Baa3 the foreign currency rating assigned to Gol LuxCo S.A.'s ("Gol LuxCo") term loan guaranteed by Delta Air Lines, Inc. ("Delta").

(NYSE: GOL and B3: GOLL4) ("GLAI"), Brazil's #1 airline, hereby announces to the market, in compliance with article 156, paragraph 4, of Law No. 6.404/76 and CVM Rule No. 358, of January 3, 2002, that GOL Equity Finance, an orphan special purpose vehicle organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (the "Issuer"), has launched an offering of US$300,000,000 aggregate principal amount of Exchangeable Senior Notes due 2024 (the "notes") guaranteed by GLAI and GOL Linhas Aéreas S.A., pursuant to exemptions from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"). The Issuer also intends to grant the initial purchasers of the notes an option to purchase up to an additional US$45,000,000 aggregate principal amount of notes.
Brazilian airline Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA said in a securities filing on Thursday it has launched an offer for exchangeable senior notes worth $300 million that will mature in 2024. The notes are exchangeable for American Depositary Shares under certain conditions, the filing said.
LATAM Airlines, the largest carrier in Latin America, reported on Tuesday a net profit of $149 million for the fourth quarter of 2018 and said its full-year results were its best since 2012, when the company was created in its current form. Brazil's largest airline, Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, suffered a loss of 1.1 billion reais in 2018, the company said on Thursday, though it generated net income of 580 million reais ($155.7 million) in the final quarter. Earlier this year, Gol told investors that losses could come in as much as 63 percent higher than previously forecast for the year, reaching up to $1.80 per share traded in the New York Stock Exchange.
