GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. ("GOL" or "Company"), (NYSE: GOL and B3: GOLL4), Brazil's premier domestic airline, reviews its financial outlook for 2020 and 2021. Guidance is adjusted to reflect higher passenger revenues, lower loyalty program revenues, higher cash flows, lower interest expense, variations in oil prices and exchange rates, and adjustments to fleet and network plans.

Brazilian airline Gol, Boeing Co's largest Latin America customer, said its profit almost halved to 352 million reais ($80.37 million) in the fourth quarter as its MAX fleet remained grounded after two deadly crashes. The People's Bank of China said it was injecting 1.2 trillion yuan ($174 billion) worth of liquidity into the markets via reverse repo operations on Monday. The well-received news from China, one of Latin America's biggest export destinations, helped push a basket of stocks in the region up 1.8%.
Shares in Brazil's Gol rose as much as 5.5% on Tuesday after the budget airline said it had signed a codeshare agreement with American Airlines. "When this is approved by Brazilian and U.S. authorities, Gol's new codeshare will allow its customers to connect to more than 30 destinations in the USA," Gol said in a statement, adding that American will now offer more U.S.-South American flights than anyone else. The flights will operate from Gol's hubs in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Fortaleza, and will be added to current regular flights to Miami and Orlando.

New York, January 24, 2020 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) assigned a B1 Corporate Family Rating (CFR) to Grupo Aeroméxico, S.A.B. de C.V. (Aeroméxico.) and B2 to its proposed USD400 million senior unsecured global notes to be issued by its fully owned subsidiary Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V. and unconditionally guaranteed by Aeromexico. This is the first time Moody's assigns a rating to Aeromexico.
