Vial y Vives - DSD, a Chilean subsidiary of Grupo Graña y Montero, signed a contract with Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A. for the electromechanical civil assembly of the water treatment plant, cooling towers, turbogenerators and evaporators as part of the modernization and expansion of the Arauco Plant (MAPA). The contract has a term of 23 months and an approximate value of US$ 111.6 million, as reported by the Group in a Relevant Information Communication sent to the Superintendence of Securities Market (SMV).

The Graña y Montero Group (GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) today successfully concluded the capital increase approved by the General Shareholders' Meeting on November 6, 2018, by completing the subscription of 211,864,065 new common shares at a price of US $ 0.6136 per share. The Company had a mandate from the Shareholders' Meeting to place a capital increase of up to US $ 130 million. Today, we announce with great satisfaction, that we placed the full amount, achieving in the last stage of the process an over subscription of around US $ 35 million dollars.

Graña y Montero and GyM Constitute a Guarantee Trust in Favor of the Peruvian State to Ensure the Amount That Contributes to the Payment of the Potential Civil Compensation
Graña y Montero S.A.A. (GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) and its subsidiary GyM S.A. have been notified of the Official Letter No. 170-2019-JUS/SG-UFL30737, under which is reported that the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights has signed the Guarantee Trust Agreement that contributes to the payment of civil compensation, constituting a guarantee by Graña y Montero and GyM in favor of the Peruvian State under the terms and conditions of Law No. 30737 and its regulations. The Trust Agreement has been established considering a guarantee amount of S/. The guarantee amount of the Trust will contribute to the potential civil compensation determined by the competent authorities under the provisions of the aforementioned Law in the event that, as a result of the investigations and legal proceedings in progress, former officers of Graña y Montero S.A.A. or former officers of GyM S.A. are declared responsible in acts of corruption admitted by Odebrecht in the South Interoceanic Road Corridor Peru – Brazil Project (Tranches 2 and 3) and in the Civil and Electromechanical Works of the Electric Mass Transportation System of Lima and Callao (Tranches 1 and 2).

Grupo Graña y Montero reduced its debt by 21%
Grupo Graña y Montero reported financial statements for the Fourth Quarter of 2018 in which it was possible to reduce the total debt of the company by US$ 174 million (-21%) to US$ D 654.67 million, thanks to the successful execution of the debt reduction plan. The difference in sales is mainly explained by the decrease in revenues in the Engineering and Construction area (-16%) and to a lesser extent in the Real Estate area (-3%). This figure, in line with accumulated Backlog plus Recurring Business of US$ 2,105 million, represents almost two years of sales, due to the new contracts awarded in 2018 as the mining projects from Quellaveco (Peru), Minera Escondida (Chile) and Mina Justa (Peru) and does not include recently announcement of Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 Project.
