With inflation report signaling that we might have peaked, I am expecting GT might go over 13 early next week. We will see how thing play out. I definitely think GT bottomed out and we should start to see an orderly rise.

So how many other companies can say they have a stock price that is lower today than it was five years ago?

Inventory shortages of tires is being caused by many factors, like shortage of labor, shipping issues, rubber shortage. This is causing prices to go up for tires by many manufacturers, across the board. I imagine the shortage should improve margins, to the upside. Sooner or later issues will get resolved but the prices will stick. Wages are going up by people job hopping. Very strong job market. Sooner or later more immigration will need to be allowed for more balanced supply and demand for workers.

Always interesting how a stock can be tossed to the curb yesterday and bid up 8% today and for no fundamental reason.

I know a GT shareholder whose cost average is $ 14.50/share. Do you believe that GT will ever see $ 14.50/share again? Thumbs up for yes, down for no. Thank you in advance for your opinion...asking for a friend... lol

Best revenue growth rate in 10 years. Once the sell-off in the market stops or slows down, it will bounce back to $20 -25 range. It was just $ 24 two months ago.

My husband who is a chemical trucker out of Akron said the shipping manager said that price increases will stick and add to margins gradually and the chemical engineers are busting but to alternative source ingredients. Go GT

Buying opportunity. Earnings were great, and the guidance was also good. No reason for this GT to drop by 7.5 percent today. IT should have risen by 7.5%. Buy now

    OK few items:
Net debt increased $2.4 billion compared with a year ago, reflecting primarily nearly $1.9 billion of cash consideration for the Cooper transaction. still 500 million net increase ( ex Cooper )

Dollar is getting stronger hurting foreign profits.

    China is still in reverse.

Input are killing them. Whether we see raw material cost trends reverse or not, we're continuing to focus on further actions to address cost pressures

Addition capital required to build out foot print. At the same time, we're in the planning stages for two significant expansions in low-cost locations within our existing footprint and modernizations at two of our Americas factories. ( add in France )

This company is a total disaster, almost every day it falls and it does it big, and the few days it goes up, no more than 0.04 cents, with this performance ,think I will never recover my big losses, good luck

Incredible ER. When commodity prices lower and they will at one point this stock will fly.

Stop Selling your shares. We can all see the pickup in car transportation. Tires getting used up. Earnings last week were good. Supportive of a 8-10 PE. Do your homework.

Stop Selling your shares, Best earnings in years. Price increases are sticky and will help margins as input costs moderate. We all now inflation has peaked and we are likely to see cost inputs moderate. Tires are a needed item as post pandemic travel picks up. China will end lockdowns. Think longer term.

With quarterly earning at a 10 year high, I can see the dividend being brought back next year. I think the dividend was removed late 2020 during the lock downs.
Traffic is way up again here in Phoenix
