$Highway Holdings This is a solid stock. If this gives a Dividend this will rise. This is not a bull trap. FYI

HIHO stock is trading for less than the cash per share. The company has no debt. Basically, that means that when you buy shares of HIHO, you are getting their factory in Myanmar for free, as well as the facilities they still lease in China. This company has a loss for all of 2019, but according to the CEO, the awful 2019 results were affected by the loss of orders by a big customer, as well as the non-recurring expense of moving equipment to Myanmar, and training staff in Myanmar. The U.S.-China trade war also adversely affected 2019 results. I'm optimistic that once the factory in Myanmar starts operating closer to full capacity, then HIHO's financial results will improve dramatically. I suspect that the stock price has been beaten down below fair value by year-end tax-loss selling. December 31st was the last day to sell shares of HIHO for a tax loss on 2019 income tax returns. It is likely that HIHO stock price may bounce higher from this depressed level over the next 3 months or so.

I am interested in this stock but it has gone nowhere over its lifetime back to 1996. It seems undervalued but why has to it not appreciated over the years? Thanks

Material weaknesses and going through accounting firms doesn't make me feel warm all over.

The Audit Committee of the Board has selected Centurion ZD CPA & Co., an accounting firm based in Hong Kong, to continue as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021.

As disclosed in a report on Form 6-K filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on January 21, 2020 (the “January Form 6-K”), the Company reported that on January 21, 2020, the Company appointed Gumbiner Savett Inc. (“Gumbiner”) as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020. Gumbiner is an assurance, tax, and business advisory firm based in Santa Monica, California, U.S. During the Company’s fiscal years ended March 31, 2018 and 2019 and through the subsequent interim period on or prior to January 21, 2020, neither the Company nor anyone on its behalf has consulted with Gumbiner on either (a) the application of accounting principles to a specified transaction, either completed or proposed, or the type of audit opinion that might be rendered on the Company’s financial statements, or (b) any matter that was the subject of a disagreement, as that term is defined in Item 16F(a)(1)(iv) of Form 20-F (and the related instructions thereto) or a reportable event as set forth in Item 16F(a)(1)(v)(A) through (D) of Form 20-F.

As noted in the January Form 6-K, Gumbiner replaced Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Certified Public Accountants LLP (“Deloitte”), the former independent auditor in Hong Kong. The auditor-client relationship between the Company and Deloitte was ended on January 21, 2020 after careful consideration and evaluation by the Company’s Audit Committee and with the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Deloitte’s audit reports on the Company’s consolidated financial statements for each of the fiscal years ended March 31, 2019 and March 31, 2018 did not contain an adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, and was not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles. During the Company’s fiscal years ended March 31, 2019 and March 31, 2018 and through the subsequent interim period on or prior to January 21, 2020, there were no disagreements between the Company and Deloitte on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure, which disagreements, if not resolved to the satisfaction of Deloitte, would have caused Deloitte to make reference to the subject matter of the disagreements in connection with its report.

    Great Company, Bad Location
Unfortunately, Myanmar is getting a lot of bad press. The company seemed to indicate that some customers were reluctant to move production there. Recent events don't help this. Reluctantly, I am out on the spike.

How strange is this that all the buying activity is occurring in after market trading when they could have bought a lot cheaper during regular trading. I've never seen anything like this? This has occurred two Fridays in a row.

Well, HIHO is not an unloved stock anymore. After years of frustration this unique little stock has finally gotten some attention. I sold 15,000 shares all the way up to it's high yesterday of 6.55 with $2,500 worth of dividends all set to show up in my account on Monday. I do not believe the run up this past week was a pump and dump. It was quite orderly and given the dividend yield is still trading at a fair price. This stock has probably been the world's best kept secret for years and it's finally paid off. I'll gunning to buy some back on any dips on Monday.

Well, here's your reward folks! To the relatively few of you who have had faith this little stock, today's year end earnings report is absolutely stellar and almost guarantees the quarterly $.10 per share dividend will continue. HiHO may be the best kept secret of all traded stocks. Just look at the dividend yield of about 8% alone. Look at my post below, The stock subsequently fell a lot more than I thought it would and repurchased all the 15,000 shares back that I had sold in the big run up three months ago. The pre-market bid this morning is already &5.00. I expect a nice rally in the stock today.
