Has the May dividend been declared?

Up on big volume last couple of sessions. Sense something is brewing other than .44 cent payout.

    why the big up move?
    any news?

I suspect the loss was due investors playing the dividend. It happens to other energy investments I own.

Only reason I posted so much yesterday, is I just can't find any good explanation as to why HMLP is selling off so much, other than profit taking and that it seems that next quarters EPS projections is predicted to be a few cents lower... Long term outlook for the demand of LNG and FRU's, still looks good, from what I find out there.

Reading a lot of lng for cleaner power, vessels starting to use etc etc. I feel like it has to be good in the medium and long term for this kind of ships. What you guys think?

Why were share prices down???... Because if you have actually followed the technicals of how HMLP trades, this move lower was to be expected. When you use the charting indicator, Stochastic Oscillation, whenever the price moves higher, breaking the 80 level, it rarely ever moves high in price, without first selling off and going below the 20 level. If it is true to form, the price will move higher as we close in on the ex-dividend date.... Now having said that, the trading days leading up to yesterday’s decline, seemed very manipulated. Almost like MM’s were artificially keeping prices higher on the low volume, around the $16 range. Almost like it was gaming the technicals....

Seeking Alpha reported today:"On March 8, Leif Höegh said it was teaming with Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners in a bid to take Höegh LNG private, offering NOK23.50 ($2.74) for each of the outstanding shares they do not already own." How can this happen?

Wasn’t planning on adding to my position but after reading the below long-term outlooks, I may just have to. It will be back to around the $16 range, at least I am guessing, as we near the ex-div date. Which, yeah, would’ve been nice to see this keep running like it has been for the last several months but it was running pretty good and a consolidation isn’t really a surprise. If it drops onto the $13 range though, that will be just plane ridiculous and I’d venture to say, “suspicious.”

Must have been some bad news? Time to unload or load up more?

Starting to purchase some, my gmlp hoping for the future. Gas seems to be the future, many power companies and vessels are switching to gas away from oil. Hope I am right. Any other opinion out there?
