Wow..... Well I guess I wont be needing to set-up an exit plan....I owned 2346 shares @ 6.87

Not a bad day in the least, but would of loved to see a dividend some day. Good luck to the rest of the @Home investors on here and may all of your investments be as good if not better than this one has been!

I just got to say don’t sell your shares yet. Maybe I’m in denial lol. But maybe they are hoping people will just sell to add to the 57% needed hehe

I am truly stunned that 57% of share holders were willing to dump their stocks for $37 each. I have also made good money BUT just imagine if we had had a CEO that had been there for us share holders and actually wanted to work with us.... then we would have had a company that would have been worth $10 billion in a few years!! Imagine a stock price of $100-150..... then I feel cheated. However, Mr. Bird got his hundred millions plus in bonus so he does not care!! American Green at its worst but I doubt anyone can do anything about it - I just hope that there in fact were 57% of voters going for this and it is not all a scam. Best of luck to all of you with all your future investments!!

This is definitely going through. Not happy about it.

July 19th is the deadline. You will have to call and speak with a broker/agent to inform them of your instructions of accepting or declining the tender offer. That is how it will work with Fidelity.

Anyone know when we are finding more information on whats happening? Yesterday was, at least the start, of the tender offering, but I am unsure of how long that plays out. I've only been a shareholder for a week or two, but I have no received any vote or info from my broker.

Apparently you only have to call in if your in favor of tendering your shares.

living in Texas near Plano, I remember going into At Home in its infancy and thinking that this is like being in a Home Depot or Costco in their beginning. I signed up for information or mailer or something and I was sent an offer to get in on their IPO and have been a stockholder ever since then. I watched it climb from $15 a share up to around$39 and then sink to $1.50 or so. am I disgusted??? you better believe it. when it looks like things are on the right track, we get the rug pulled out from under us. unfortunately, with all the stock the board of directors has, there is nothing we can do.

I guess the question is how long do you plan to hold. Like someone said earlier if this stock stays listed it’s gonna take well over a year I feel to reach the current buyout offer price. Low to mid 20’s if this doesn’t go private and a bunch of time for things to go wrong during its climb back up.

how to make yourself rich in management
    1. accept a low value for the company in a buy ou
    2. stay with the private equity firm as the company grows in value..
    3. when the private equity firm takes the company public again at 3 to 4 times their original purchase price
    4. cash in ...and laugh at the suckered shareholders who sold at 36-37
    5. Buy a Lamborghini and smile

If you are an At Home investor you need to visit https://protectathome.com/ by CAS INVESTMENT PARTNERS. I would like to thank CAS INVESTMENT PARTNERS for putting focus on this proposed sale!!

Lee Bird stands to make $100 MILLION plus on this deal and I now have absolutely ZERO confidence in him having ANY interest in the stock holders / At Home investors!! He has proven that all he cares about is himself and it makes me sad that there are people being this well paid who have absolutely ZERO character and respect for others!! WE are the ones who have put Lee Bird in charge and he has proven that he only cares about himself!! Makes me want to puke!! I hope we get a NO to this sale and then I hope that we can get rid of Lee Bird!!

How is this trading below 36? I’m guessing people thinking it’s not going private. 🤷‍♂️

I just called Fidelity and voted NO to the $37 sale of At Home to Hellman & Friedman!! I urge any and all of you investors to vote by the deadline on July 19th

I really can't blame CEO Lee Bird for wanting to take the deal... he stands to make more money than I could dream to make in my life, but they would effectively be leaving a whole lot of money on the table for all of the shareholders. CAS Investment Partners, the largest shareholder, sees this and is doing everything they can to stop this deal. Fingers crossed that the rest of the shareholders see this before their vote.

I would love to know when we get to vote about this proposed sale of At Home - if anyone knows please post. I know there are 40 days where they can receive new offers but till we can vote NO to the sale at $36 per share this stock will not move anywhere. HOW can management suggest they sell for $36 per stock.... they are either absolutely clueless or they are each receiving millions and millions in golden hand shakes!! (neither is good for us investors!!)
