BOISE, Idaho, May 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Following its May 16 annual meeting of shareholders, IDACORP, Inc. (IDA) has announced the appointment of Richard J. Dahl to serve as the new independent chairman of the Boards of Directors of IDACORP and its wholly owned subsidiary, Idaho Power. Dahl will also serve as chairman of the Board of Directors' corporate governance and nominating committees, to succeed Robert A. Tinstman in these roles. Dahl has served as a director of IDACORP and Idaho Power since 2008 and has been chair of the Board of Directors' audit committee since 2009.

(IDA) recorded first quarter 2019 net income attributable to IDACORP of $42.7 million, or $0.84 per diluted share, compared with $36.1 million, or $0.72 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2018.
