Infigen Energy Shares Can Power 30% Higher

RBC Capital Markets has initiated coverage on Infigen Energy (IFN.AU) with an outperform rating as it expects the Australian wind power producer to successfully restructure its debt enabling it to pursue growth and, in time, start paying dividends again. Analysts Paul Johnston and Nira Sonah give several reasons reasons for the outperform rating: A rapidly improving balance sheet following a recent $151m equity capital raising, improving cash flow generation, and an expectation that the restrictive debt arrangements will be refinanced on more attractive terms de-risking the balance sheet, allowing further investments in growth and, in time, the resumption of dividends to equity investors. A restructured balance sheet and a more stable policy framework will allow IFN to accelerate renewable investment opportunities.
