    The India Fund, Inc. Announces Distribution

    PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The India Fund, Inc. (IFN) (the "Fund"), a closed-end equity fund, announced today that it will pay a distribution of US$0.32928 per share on September 29, 2017 to all shareholders of record as of September 22, 2017.  This distribution is comprised of 100% net realized long-term capital gains. The Fund is managed and advised by Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited.
