Having bought this at $7.11, I'm not complaining. I just don't understand how an expected $0.5 loss per share coming in at an actual $1.39 loss per share equates to a 14% rise? 😂

i just downloaded their app just to see what the difference is with spotify. ive used spotify and pandora before. i heart radio isnt any different from these other two is my take. market cap is less than annual revenue. so this is a value stock. compared to ps ratio of spotify to this company this has room to grow.

Another great quarter. Bob and Rich are being true to their word. They kept the old in shape by focusing on costs and tech while retaining the sales force. Open economy, huge hungry sales force and better tech stack means this side of the business is going to ramp up rapidly. The digital side was already crazy positive but the story keeps getting better. The tech stack is now complete so another revenue stream in Europe soon. Suitors must be banging the doors to get in while the enterprise value is still within reach. The flywheel is moving fast so hope they stay away for a couple more years as it seems like the numbers will only improve as they continue to load their podcast line with crazy talent (see NFL and Malcolm Gladwell additions) and their tech stack now allows them to attract dollars with low friction from small, medium and large clients as the boom is about to hit so more revenue and less wasted spots. Good luck to all the longs.

I bought and sold a few weeks ago. Had to buy again today. The chart is too good. Good luck to all longs.

Many new cars have “Car Play” and a big attraction while traveling is listening to Pod Casts. I like IHeart radio a lot and I think this is a big growth area.

So Tabor family asks for permission to buy up to half. John Malone has already made a run at ihrt in the last. The company is hitting on all cylinders in a stimulus filled economy on radio side and a lightning in a bottle on the podcast side. Global/ Tabor and Malone know this space. Global is basically signaling that this is a good space to invest. I agree and hope neither take it out prematurely. Management stay strong, use your poison pill, and let them pay up substantially or enjoy their shares like the rest of us.

Thanks Bob and Rich for a great quarter! I’m excited about the phenomenal digital growth and the ad tech sales opportunity outside of US. Keep on rollin.

can we reframe the question?: if I own $500 worth of IHRTQ now, will I retain my $500 after bankruptcy via a different/new iHeartMedia ticker symbol? Or will I lose a good portion of my $500 and get a nominal amount of the new shares? If I/we stand to lose money (which JARED seems to think), then shouldn't anyone with a profit to reap be getting out sometime soon?
