I hope we're establishing a firm foot hold in the $14 range as we've gotten here much faster than I assumed. However, Mr. Market is speaking and it appears that ING is being viewed as a bank with substantial opportunity for growth as the world trends towards reducing the impact of Covid 19.

For your information, Zacks has an article: ING VS WBK: Which Stock Is The Better Value Option? that is listed here on Yahoo Finance. Their conclusion........."Both ING and WBK are impressive stocks with solid earnings outlooks, but based on our valuation figures, we feel that ING is the superior value option right now." Some analysts have a $17 price target for ING and we seem to be headed in that direction.

This is a solid company. Not paying any dividends for the last year only builds up its solid capital. When the pandemic comes to a close or manageable element in Europe and the economy bounces back, you will see this stock in the solid 20's, and then move, finally, higher.

I'm hoping that we are able to maintain a foothold and stabilize the share price in the $13 range. The 12 cent dividend in March and the larger dividend 5 months from now are encouraging signs that ING in on the move upwards. If we're at $13 now where will we be as Europe starts to gain control of the pandemic?

It is starting to look like we just might climb into the $14 range soon. Even though the pandemic is still causing huge problems in parts of Asia and South America........there is light starting to appear in the tunnels of Europe, North America and China. As these areas continue to fire up their economies that activity should continue to improve the prospects of banks like ING.

About 2 weeks ago they came out with earnings, which seemed to beat estimates, and it slumped. Since, it has come back to reflect that these were good earnings. 15 by the end of the year is very possible, and 16 - 20 is certainly in play.

1.6 billions Euro profits is very good. Strong reported result with revenue and income beat. Tier 1 capital at 14.5% is very strong. Transforming to service fees model and using its branch-less model are differentiated low cost bank in Euro.

We've witnessed a very nice progression in share price here over the past month, a difficult month at that so the future might be even brighter. Starting to feel like we're getting our footing back! Not an easy chore but I think we're on our way up.

I think the anticipation of the commercial/app release next week (I say next week because I think $ING would want their product out prior to presenting at the NIBA) is going to cause the price to jump today. That's just an assumption though...

If you read their 4Q report, they say they will pay a 12 eurocent interim dividend after publication of results, and then "We intend to distribute the remaining amount reserved for the FY2020 distribution (#$%$0.27 per share) after September 30th 2021, subject to relevant approvals and prevailing ECBrecommendations" It's on page 21. That would be about a US 47 cent yearly dividend.

It's possible, just possible, that we are returning to an element of reasonableness on ING. It has solid earnings, a pe of under 10, with some real growth prospects. As things settle down overseas, and the markets understand this stock is stable and financially secure, we may see a pe of over 15 become a realistic stable, justifying a price over 20, if not 30.
