Intel still has 90%+ over the data center CPU market. Wall Street treats Intel like there’s an existential threat or something, it’s insanity. This is an easy buy at this price.

Consider this: Every dollar of revenue AMD takes in the data center, probably costs Intel two dollars in revenue.

Intel has a lot going for it now that it has resolved the 10nm issues. It has put together an impressive line up of Chips (CPU's (Alder lake, Sapphire Rapids), GPU's (Xe) and FPGA's Asic's), and with its leading edge packaging it can tackle any future computing task.

Also Intel gets support from the U.S Govt for manufacturing. Nvidia and AMD are fly by night companies. Meme's.

Are there any catalysts for INTC next week? A very big increase in call volume for the 6-25 expires. I didn't see any earnings announcements or other reasons. Any clues?

Intel developed FinFet, TSMC copied it. Intel uses Cobalt in its 10nm, TSMC uses copper, but will copy cobalt in the future.

Maybe Monkey boy Creamer can explain how a COPIER can be a leading edge company.

question. I get that intel at the moment has inferior technology to AMD. Does that mean that it won't come up with a better design within a few years? Don't they invest in a lot of research and design? Also, just because Apple doesn't use their inferior chips, who does? It still seems like there is a large market for those "inferior chips".

For every chip that Nvidia sells, Intel sells one too.

Maybe Monkey Boy Creamer can explain how Nvidia is worth more than Intel.

I found what I presume is Intel's EMIB interconnect patent, U.S. 10,381,310. I had assumed that it used simple passive copper interconnect lines, but not so. Interesting conductor and can include a gate to turn it off.

Here's what will happen to Intel and AMD in the next year

Fall-2021Alderlake comes out, takes back single core crown by a mile, closes multicore gap, close performance per wat gap, able to price their product more competitively than Ryzen, while also being available for everyone who wants one to buy- Intel gets price target upgrades, AMD gets a slash when they have to lower their prices.

    Jan-2022
XeDGPu2 Arrives, available for retail- Crypto craze is still going, Nvidia and AMD continue to have supply problems, Intel fills in the gap, AMD and Nvidia lose market share and are forced to fight on multiple fronts.
Intel-price targer Upgraded, AMD- gets another slash.

A few Weeks later- Time for 2021 earnings to come out. Alderlakes sales show up big on earnings, AMD drains the rest of their global foundarys reserve, and still cannot hide that their earnings and margins are shrinking. Gilsinger declares a price war and rolls out sapphire rapids. They close the performance gap on Epic and analysts become worried

    AMD receives major downgrades
Intel becomes a growth stock and gets a huge price target upgrade

Spring 2022- Intel remains silent, as they knock Ryzen off of Amazon, ebay, and Neweggs best seller list. Lisa Sue holds a huge press conference announcing the release of Zen4 coming by Summer, showing off their processor trading blows with alderlake, claiming the new features made possible by tsmc n5 has once again closed the gap, which will only widen as zen4 features become unlocked. They send out samples to all the youtube fanboys to make some propaganda for them. AMD stock has another spike. A day later a Raptor is spotted in the wild, and slipps into the hands of Dr. Ian Cutress. The last refinement of Intel 10nm is found to be superior to TSMC 5nm, a week later Gilsinger comments on the release of Raptor lake, calls it the end of 10nm on desktop, and announces Intel 7nm lineup for retail by Christmas, claims density same as tsmc 3nm.

Summer 2022- Zen4 a flop, bulls become bears, and Lisa-Sue more or less admits Zen-5 will be competing with intel 7nm, in a different way then Ryzen has done in the past. Intel kicks a dying dog with another skew up GPUs, with 20% improvements, taking the number 2 spot in gpu performance

AMD is trading at $30, Intel is now trading above $100. It's September 2022. I told you so.
