Fact is this stock is trading lower then the dividend payouts. It’s a negative return
Just x Div, looks like a good price to buy some more. Great DIV yield.
This stock has been shutting the bed for a year! Every dividend the stock drops further and further!
IMO this is a bargain. No reason to believe that management will not rebuild the portfolio to a more profitable position. ECON 101: Maximum return for the investor.
Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: IVR) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.09 per share of common stock for the fourth quarter of 2021. The dividend will be paid on January 27, 2022 to stockholders of record on January 11, 2022, with an ex-dividend date of January 10, 2022.
This is the year to dump the high flyers and buy dividend paying stocks. How do you beat IVR's dividend?!
Let’s have a vote, will $IVR finally hold its gains in the new year? Thumbs up or Thumbs down.
Rates are going to rise!!!

AGNC Investment Corp.
I have been observing AGNC for quite some time and I think its a strong "BUY" as real estate will be doing well as an index based on the macroeconomic elements at play. Its interesting how many common thinking folks believe the Fed Tapering & Inflation jump will hurt REITs, when actually based on history its the opposite effect. Although locking a low interest rate is the key to maximizing inventory its not always the only reason of profitability as real estate also serves a dual purpose of hedging *further inflation and tax pressures as well. We have many people whom are very economically strong and they'll park their investments into real estate than buying 10-yr bonds based on the return they'll achieve if they sell their property 2yrs down the road or longer. My only issue (if any) w/ AGNC is that you might attain a higher passive income return or ROI with other REITs such as $ORC, $IVR, $TWO, and $ARR in terms of Forward Dividend Yield / PE in the future. But AGNC is still a prime choice along with the other REITs that should perform well in 2022. Do your research and GL to ALL in the new year!!!
What is the likely hood that IVR can regain that $16 level? I'm thinking that because they had to sell off non agency backed securities, that the dynamics have changed. Meaning that, the company is different now the pre pandemic and as a result, may never be able to rebuild to pre pandemic levels. Thoughts?
Nice run the last couple days! Let's GOOOOOO!
3$ soon … and maybe over 3$ before dividend - not bad
people in control are institution. massive money up from here incredible div
I just hope the price stays suppressed for a couple of weeks ..... I usually load up the ROTH the first week in January. I am going to buy all $7K in IVR and let it run (DRIP) for at least 5 years....IVR has not recovered at the same rate as other REITs......at least I see that Institutional ownership stays strong.....Am I being too hopeful on this one?....
12.4% yield, keep it coming.
great div stock to buy what more do you want
Last day to load up for dividends ex day Jan 10th ;) Monday is Jan 10th the ex divvy date.
Possibly over 3$ before dividend !?
