48 years of increased earnings every qtr. fiscally sound.. debt free and money in bank for another acquisition with past records showing increase in share price when they do..strong management. ...sounds like a strong buy

I reside in Jersey/Pa border I know JJSF very well. Stock market has punished this stock too much due to the pandemic virus. Ive made nice monies on this stock before. Once owned it when it was in the 20's. Taking another flyer again. They had some 300 million in cash as per the latest 10-Q and no debt. Have 7750 shares on margin with avg cost price of $126.00 Will add more on any further pullbacks

    Hello all!

JJSF hit my personal value and momentum radar screener...
after reviews of their last 2 annual reports and recent news reviews...
I think this pony has legs to run for the next 9 months.

Salty savory and snacks never go out of style in market trepidation and economic pullback.

Given its growth prospects, the stock should trade around $70/share max.

I should of sold JJSF before the last earnings announcement. The share price got slammed right after that. And then the stock market meltdown over the past month. If they had announced a one or two million share buyback of their shares with all their cash it would of stopped the bleeding. Having a discount broker is now showing its ugly head. I had free trades but now they are telling me they have the right to sell all my stocks at the opening tomorrow morning unless I provide further liquidity which I dont have. I tried to call JJSF investor relations today to inquire if they planned to issue a press release to calm the selling down; something to say they are still sitting on a boatload of cash and the dividend is safe etc......got voicemail........left a message.........not holding my breath of a return call.......so it looks like
my portfolio will be all dumped tomorrow at the opening bell.......I guess its lesson learned........Trump has spooked this market by saying just a few days ago everybody should go to church on Easter Sunday and now sounding the panic button of 100k to 200k potential deaths. Live and learn.

JJSF is by far and away the best investment in my life. By and hold pays off. I bought 1000 JJSF shares in 2001 for 15 bucks a share. After the stock split I now have 2000 shares worth some $276,000. Plus i am getting dividends !

From 196 down to 112. Unreal. JJSF has been sitting on a boatload of cash.......they had some 300 million in cash as per there latest 10-Q and zero debt and an untapped credit line. One would think they would be buying back their stock hand over fist at these prices. By doing so they would in effect
be lowering shares outstanding and raising EPS and lowering expenditures for dividends. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box. Trying to fight a margin call with my broker. I will get crushed if I am forced to liquidate my portfolio. I always thought of food stocks as conservative safe plays.
