They went from a $.32 "LOSS" last year first quarter, to a $.20 "PROFIT" in first quarter of 2018. Doesn't get much better than that.

Also, the first quarter is usually lower, due to Chinese New Year, so they could do better than a $.20 profit in Q2 of 2018.

That could also potentially give them $.80 yearly profit ($.20 x 4 quarters).

    $4.00+ very quickly!!! :-)

So as of 12/27/18, we are now sitting at $0.76/share with a $50m market cap. Trading volume is still very low and tax selling should be done. I'd love to know what was discussed at the Annual Meeting back on 12/15. Did they talk about creating shareholder value and getting this thing back above $1.00? Buy back stock, pay a dividend, pay off high interest debt, or do another US and/or Euro road show to generate investor interest? Or did they talk about how to set up more high interest related party loans with their friends and/or how to drive the selling price lower so they can take it private for pennies on the dollar? Gold prices have had a nice move up since QE 9/30/18 so their investment gold business should be showing some gains. Their financials are audited a legitimate accounting firm ( Freidman LLP) based in NYC which was recently named a top 50 accounting firm, so claims of cooked books seem like pure rumors. China economy is weak but not terrible. Really starting to lose patience with this equity, but don't want to sell at the bottom. Anyone else have constructive thoughts?

Another blow out quarter. Can not understand why the share price is not $5.00+ right now? They earned another $.20 = $.40 per share for the year. If they do the same the second half of the year, it'd be $.80 a share, which means the PE would be 1.56 at price. Makes no sense. If was a US company, and they were 15 PE, they'd be $12.00 a share. Better be something really good in the conference call.

KGJI CEO invited investors to visit the company in last shareholder financial report conference. Has anyone visited the company since? I stayed at Shanghai for over a month and just get back in June. While at SH, I am amazed to see those 3D gold jewelry in the gold jewelry store. I think price of KGJI is going to be much higher once back above $1.

Good quarterly results - if the unrealized capital gain (less currency adjustment) on their gold inventories is counted, KGJI earned over $2.50 per share for the 2019 - 1H. Now let's see if the market rewards this stock that is usually ignored.

The price of KGJI is insane. Good growth rate, profitable, market cap 1/25 of revenue and a P/E of 1.5! Even for a Chinese company this doesn't make sense...

China gold jewelry demand craters, After a major sell-off mid-March, gold has seen a massive rally, boosted by its safe-haven appeal during the COVID-19 crisis. The precious metal even neared $1,800 an ounce level in April.
However, physical demand for the metal out of Asia has been unusually weak.
“Jewelry sales fell to their lowest on record (-40% YoY), with physical trade imports / flows into China and India mimicking that (down ~65% & 40% YoY respectively). In addition, the pace of CB purchases has fallen off materially (on an annualized basis they have bought +3.7mn oz, the slowest annual pace since 2008),” Scotiabank commodity strategist Nicky Shiels pointed out, citing data from the World Gold Council’s Q1 Global Demand Trends report.

Great fundamentals based on last report.

However, my brokerage site shows as NASDAQ FSI:D. Deficient (Issuer failed to meet continued listing requirements)

Primarily because it is now below $1 - hopefully it will go above the 1$ mark. Consolidation for continued listing in most cases works negative. Hope we do not have to take this path.
