Someone (insiders or institutions) buying small blocks today. Not of the woods. Valuation still too high. 8x P/S even here.

The Next Door app is flooded with advertisements nowadays. Annoying for people using the sight but good for investors

I've been short since the first week, but I covered this morning. I also put on a long position this morning for a trade. I still think KIND goes lower after the lockups expire, but I think it bounces from here through earnings in February.

Just an FYI for new / novice investors, people who have perhaps only been investing for ten years or less. Currently the S&P500 has not even entered a *correction* (defined as down 10%+) much less a bear market (defined as down 20%+). The NASDAQ is in correction territory, down 14%. A routine bear market (which we haven't had in a long time) takes the S&P500 down about 25-30% with the NASDAQ tending to drop a bit more. If the recent declines do ultimately lead to a bear market, there will very likely be periods during which stocks increase, sometimes for weeks and going up sharply, before resuming the downtrend. That is how bear markets work. Good luck. If the declines stop now, a stock like KIND can stabilize, but stocks like KIND get decimated in true bear markets. When I and others talk about KIND in the $3's, think about it.

IMO KIND's action today has been impressive. Yes, it is dramatically underperforming the decline in the NASDAQ. 10:44 AM EST NASDAQ down 2.35%, KIND down 7.33%, KIND underperformance = 4.98%. However, many other mid-cap tech stocks are down even more and KIND has been able to stay in the $5's, touching $5.00 before bouncing up to $5.20.

What an incredible day. Major reversal on above average volume pulling KIND up over 6% for the day, handily outperforming the NASDAQ. KIND ended the day up over 18% above its intraday low. Stunning!

Not KIND related - Is anyone else having issues with links / navigation here on Yahoo finance? I click around some times and taken to the wrong page, or the page reloads, or just wacky behavior. I haven't started drinking yet but that might start as the NAS is off 1.17% again. Just curious if anyone else has issues with Yahoo Finance.

I'm sure you are about to see the beginning of $600M of PR. Sarah Friar has shown she is the master of self promotion with a lot less to spend. You are going to see her face everywhere. TV, digital, direct advertising. It will be relentless.

3:04 EST: The final hour of trading is going to be interesting. Several hours ago the NASDAQ halted its decline which had taken its loss to more than 2%, while KIND was down about 5%. Since then the NASDAQ has been steady in the 1.8 - 2.0% range, but KIND continues to drop like a stone, down over 8% right now!

Also, riffing on what Robert just wrote, ,note that KIND's market cap is near the very bottom end of the definition of small cap and approaching the netherworld between small cap and true micro cap. It is entering a range that is uninvestable for nearly every professional money management strategy. Many funds cannot invest in stocks below $5. Many cannot bother with such tiny market caps. Small cap funds have a minimum market cap, but micro cap funds have a maximum.

For most of the day while the NASDAQ was up, KIND was up even more. But as soon as the NASDAQ reversed, KIND showed just how fragile it is, ending the day down 2.53% and underperforming the NASDAQ - yet again! - by 1.23%. Ugly. If the NASDAQ sells off a few more days, I can't see KIND staying above $5.
