Today, I sold 2 Dec $35 puts for $1.51. I've cornered the existing market on this one so far. 1,000 shares at net cost $33.35 if KLIC drops that far.

KLIC remains fundamentally sound with very little debt and since it is still a small cap company I agree that they should not be giving out dividends and instead concentrate in growing their company and putting more money into research and development. In the long run this company will grow faster because of innovation which will make their products and services better than their peers. In my 30 yrs. of investing in stocks I have seen great companies in retail, tech, and other industries disappear because of debt due to high dividend rates because what they are doing are putting their money into paying dividends instead of putting it back into the company for hiring the best people and improve innovation. If you look at these companies that made it to the top and are now very profitable most of them have very little debt or no debt and are not giving dividends but if they do just very small like what APPL is doing. If you look at history JCP, SEARS and others that are no longer here, most of them had a lot of debt and were giving greater than 3% to 5% dividends. Some got lucky like GE that a strong CEO came along and started slushing down the dividend rate to almost none and started paying down the company's debt which is saving the company and hopefully improve innovation and hopefully debt free in the coming future. For now we just have to be patient as this company is trying to grow and reinvent itself. I also hope you take advantage of days like these because in the long run you will be glad you did. Have a nice weekend everyone and stay safe.

Bargain levels. Bought some more. This company, from what I have read, is sitting on a mountain of cash. In general terms, it’s well-positioned for the future. I don’t care how much lower it goes. I am riding it out.

Folks I'm likely the original long here. Been long since late 90's except for the top of a few cycled when Scott was still running the show and they were a US Company.

For the WHOLE TIME the death of wiring bonding has been predicted - IMO it will never go away - there will always be uses.

Now look at this post on NNDM that I have a large position in. Customers can print 3D circuit boards with chips included and they are finding success in prototyping, DoD folks, and getting into production machines. Enought fo rnow - but read this patent info posted there a half hour ago by Anonymous:
A critical (and I believe very valuable) patent is about to be awarded by the US Patent and Trademark Office. It is entitled “CHIP EMBEDDED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS AND METHODS OF FABRICATION.”

NNDM was sent the issuance fee notice by the USPTO on 8 February 2021. Typically, the patent is issued 6-8 weeks after this fee is paid by the inventor, after the inventor has received the notice of allowance. NNDM applied for the patent back on January 24, 2018. All this information can be retrieved from the USPTO's public search site.

Why is this patent a blockbuster? It will protect NNDM’s method for 3D printing a circuit board with integrated circuits (chips) embedded in the board. Virtually any complex, small electronic device has one or more integrated circuits embedded in the circuit board, however it is typically done in a multistep process that attaches the chip. NNDM’s process embeds the chips by printing the board and all the chip’s interconnections to that board. This not only allows for far more capacity in a limited space, it can also reduce the electromagnetic interference by shielding the integrated circuit. The applications are literally unlimited. The CEO, Stern also mentioned the fact that next generation Dragoflies would have the capability to insert components (such as integrated circuits) into the print. A robotic arm places the embedded component into the appropriate spot as the printing process proceeds.

Here are two quotes from the patent application:

“State-of-the-art Chip embedding technology has become a necessity in the fabrication of complex electronics. With emphasis on IoT (internet of things), new applications with embedded sensors, driven by miniaturization and optimized packages for the different demands for the sensors—became urgent; as did an increase of complexity by embedding of chips with large number of interconnections and more.”

“Provided herein are embodiments of systems methods and compositions for the direct inkjet printing of printed circuit board with embedded chip and/or chip packages using a combination of print heads with conductive and dielectric ink compositions, creating predetermined slots for locating the chips and/or chip packages and covering these with an encapsulating layer while maintaining interconnectedness among the embedded chips.”

Wow, I have just realized that their guidance for fiscal 2021 is #$%$ 1.1B! If you also take into account the improvement of the margins that KLIC shows every quarter and if you don't forget that they nearly always beat the guidance you come to an obvious conclusion: we will at least double our money before the end of the year

AMAT just reported a very strong earnings report after market closed last night and it should bode well for its peers in the semi equipment business like KLIC, LRCX, KLAC and others. Almost all of these stocks including most semis that gave their report last quarter and this quarter all had very strong reports. With the shortage of chips here and abroad these stocks should be on their way up as most of the industries that needs their products and services will continue to consume and seek their help.

Just entered into a small position. Will maybe dive in big if further research indicates what the fundamentals are saying (this stock is insanely undervalued relative to potential growth).
