Well.... revenue and EPS miss... at least the generous dividend is intact for now.

After skimming the ER, I will repeat a question a posted a few months ago. Apologies to deep sea who responded but I may have accidentally muted the reply and never was able to read it. Why do we have shrinking average charter duration.? The parents new boats get 5 year charters and we get 3 months. I don’t know what I don’t know here, but in my feeble mind we have a generational negotiating position but keep settling for what I see as bad deals. I am probably wrong but would appreciate an informed opinion. Thanks

All said and done, today's earnings report was good & favorable for future distributions. Not investment advise.

What drove the dip for this company in 2015-2016?

Does anyone have any idea why this dropped so sharply several months ago?

Everything related to oil is getting pummeled today despite record profits. Crazy market where fundamentals don't matter.

Can we get up to $25 to $30 range? High crude oil prices in 2011/12 did🤔

I first bought KNOP in the summer of 2020. At that time it just seemed so safe to me with longer term contracts and specialty operations on offshore rigs that couldn’t be shut down. After reading latest ER, I was very glad to see the gaps in open contracts being filled in the short term, but was dismayed to see the average lease life dropping significantly from when I first purchased. I would accept that risk if I knew these short term contracts were way above long term prices but I cannot tell from the information provided. Does anyone have an answer to my worries here? Also, I will say that the nice thing about inflation here is that competing replacement ships will have much higher costs making us much more competitive on profitability. I love the dividend so I’m happy for the share price to remain low enough not to tempt me to unload, but I do have a nagging feeling about the average charter duration. Thanks to whomever has an informed answer here.
