Alexis Christoforous and Jared Blikre of Yahoo Finance and Stephen Wood, Chief Market Strategist at Russell Investments, discuss quarterly results from Coca-Cola.
Earnings from AMD and Boeing drive gains.
The new drink, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, is already available in Europe, Middle East & Africa and Latin America, where it grew in double digits in the second quarter ended June 30. The company said the look and taste of Coke Zero Sugar will be closer to the original Coca-Cola. "It is a reinvention of Coke Zero... it is about helping the zero-calorie part of the portfolio grow," Chief Executive James Quincey, who took over in May, said on a conference call.
