1/23/17-Laboratory Corporation Price Target Announced at $170.00/Share by Deutsche Bank
Last SPLIT was 2002 (2 for 1) -STILL ONLY 100Million Shares outstanding. IMHO_ IF another SPLIT is announced-it could be around Dec. 9th--which would be ex-div. date (if Div. was forthcoming) IMHO- Theranos Departure from Lab Diagnostics-has helped LH icrease Market Share....
S&P Capital NEW LH PRICE TARGET: 12-month target of $155, 15.8X our '17 EPS estimate. This multiple is a premium to peers, justified by our above average sales growth outlook. ***We raise our '16 and '17 EPS estimates by $0.02 and $0.10 to $8.81 and $9.79. LH reported Q3 operating EPS of $2.25 vs $2.07, $0.04. Q3 sales increased 4.5%. We expect 10.8% sales growth in '16 aided by pricing improvements due to growth in esoteric test volumes.
Laboratory Corporation of America® Holdings (LabCorp®) (LH) today announced it will participate at the 2016 Credit Suisse Nov-7th-Healthcare Conference. LabCorp’s presentation is planned for Monday, November 7, 2016 at 12:30 PM (ET).
IMHO, the recent drop to the $124 level just offered an opportunity for a long term BUY. They are growing fast and I don't think they will be this cheap again.
As investors are you at all concerned with the terrible back office at LCA? I've been fighting them through my insurance company for six months on a service that was paid back in January. Labcorp was paid on April 26, 2016 by my insurance but I continue to be billed, in full, for the service. I call my insurance, they confirm payment, then call Labcorp. Labcorp says they will put my billing on hold and will look into it. Then a couple of months later without comment from Labcorp I get another ever escalating invoice/collection notice. This is extremely poor customer service. It seems like my only recourse is to hire an attorney that I can not afford. Maybe there are others out there with the same problem. If so we could start a class action against LCA.
Demise of Theranos no great surprise, but removes a potential long term negative.
