Down just about 10% since August 1st. I would of thought many on this board would be outraged but I’m not reading that in the posts. Just because the dividend is 3% doesn’t help a lot when your stock price craters.

I think the problem is as always, big money algos run the show. Every defense stock looks and tracking almost identical. Sector selling or indiscriminate selling IMO is really algo manipulation plain and simple.
Drive it down to confusing low levels then start selling puts. Once those puts are executed the stock will then proceed up. This is why the wealth divide grows. The top 10% can call the bottom and tops because they can move enough volume.

PE of 13.5? from that alone, you would expect rev and EPS declines in the next few years.

Market is definitely expecting defense cuts, but China and Afghanistan are reminding us why we need to stay strong.

The problem is the current socialist administration thinks all that is needed is a smile and handshake from ccp

Hmm, showing some resistance here. Market indicators are down over 2 percent, but LM is down only .5 percent.

    GNOME ON THE RANGE
The RSI is at 31.55 just slightly above the oversold range, I’ve been adding shares of LMT & BA for the last week or so. My portfolio isn’t complete without several defense stocks. Good luck & great investing!

Are Economic problems in China bullish for war stocks like LMT??

Hmmm lets consult the history books.

A div raise is coming in the next few weeks, around 9/30. expectation is a raise from 2.60 a qtr to 2.80, and more stock buyback (a given at these prices)

I am hoping to see something more aggressive, like 2.90 or even 3/share.
At 3$sh ($12/yr). the yield becomes 4.8% and growing.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why LMT and NOC are both down double what the DOW is. This stock just continues to fall. I wonder who’s at the helm? We are so close to being back where we were on Jan 1st.

Amazing! Any comment I try to post have IG s urging even remotely negative toward the new Administration is blocked and deleted. Nothing crazy just thoughts relating to company & stock. What has come to our democracy & free speech!?!?

The whole western world is underestimating China too much, you don't know this whole lon history nation once enhanced by highly central authority will get huge power. Underestimating enemy will bring weeping of the whole western civilization. Now, the invest in US ARMY is much less compared with the Cold war with Soviet Union. China will have great chance to win the battle. Sigh!

They could get a trillion dollar contract and the stock would not react..Lol.. I think it has some further downside and then I'll add to my position. Great company!

ALL: have you seen the movie trading places. When people are telling You this is a great company and that You will make money with dividends and long term buy and hold stock. Those people telling You that are selling that same stock so that they can buy it back when it bottoms out. Good luck, this stock still has a lot of sellers and they will outnumber buyers for at east another 18 months. and the stock will be values at roughly 150 USD a share

The chart doesn’t look good. Could $322-325 be right around the corner like in Jan 2021?

Looks like this stock is trading right near the bottom of the long term channel. Probably not much downside here is my guess. 3% dividend, plus 1.5% plus share buyback...looks pretty decent to me.

If anyone wants the real story here it's that the analyst do not feel that they can trust the management team after the pension charge that they announced last month and as a result also lost their CFO. Solid company but unless they do something "innovative and groundbreaking" it's a dividend story in a growth market.

It dropped to about $322 on 1/29/21. Are we headed back? I’ll be adding a few hundred / limit order about $325 and hope they don’t drop to the low $290’s again, or add more there.
