The first beneficiaries of this wave are the chip equipment companies, LRCX, KLAC, AMAT ...
Seems clear to me. But the market is not showing any resolve on this outlook. It runs for the exits on the flimsiest of premises.

All the news about funding from the chips act is really misunderstood. I.E. Micron reportedly building “mega fab” in US somewhere. That sounds great! But, the majority of rare earth materials and gases needed to run such a fab come from outside the US. China, Russia, Ukraine and a few others are major suppliers of these very critical resources.
Analysts and the current administration are absolutely clueless and fail to recognize the real threat that is looming.
