Description

Laird PLC designs, manufactures, and supplies components and solutions in North America, Europe, Asia, and internationally. Its components and solutions protect electronic devices from electromagnetic interference and heat, and enable connectivity through wireless applications. The company operates in two segments, Performance Materials and Wireless Systems. It offers antenna solutions for fixed and mobile, base stations, wireless backhaul, portable radios, telematics, and other applications; low energy Bluetooth modules for robust audio and data connectivity to Enterprise-Grade WiFi modules for mobile computers, medical devices, and other business-critical mobile devices; and automotive ferrites, common mode chokes, ferrite beads on wire, ferrite chip beads, ferrite differential arrays, ferrite disks and plates, ferrite sheets, ferrite cable cores, and ferrite toroids. The company also provides board level shields, conductive elastomers, conductive tape and adhesives, fingerstock and spring contacts, vent panels, and conductive fabrics, as well as fabric-over-foam, form-in-place, and wire mesh and knitted gaskets; custom OEM, asset tracking, and smart antennas, as well as telematics; ferrite chip and power inductors; industrial remote control and communication systems; SIAMnet for underground mines; and power generators, power over ethernet, and wireless charging coil modules. In addition, it offers custom design shielding, custom springs and contacts, user interface shields, precision metals stampings, and integrated assembly and packaging automation solutions, as well as electronic, telecomm, and handset metal components; RF/microwave absorbers and dielectrics; and thermal materials, thermoelectric modules, thermoelectric assemblies, temperature controllers, and liquid cooling systems. It serves telecom/computing, mobile devices, industry, transport, medical, and other markets. Laird PLC was incorporated in 1898 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
