Average volume last month was only 12k per day. Multiply that times $4.00 stock price. Thats only 48K in stocks traded. Thats less than my car cost. This stock is no prize. Its not even mentioned by a single analyst. If you new to trading please do not invest. You will lose your funds. Its going back to $4.00 and it will stay there for years. Save yourself some pain - dont buy this stock. I have 40 years of exp and used to spend my days at the NYSE. I have seen this before. I am short, just for the record.

The trick with trading is to trade stocks that have volatility and watch for the set up, you need a strong stock analysis to determine which stock is likely to boom. https://daytrading.group/DailyStockWatchlist does all the stock analysis for you and it shares a potential daily stock watchlist of top pre-market movers

A and B are the same stock! Check the charts! 'B' just has more voting rights than 'A' other. The only problem her is 'A' is not rising with 'B', my guess is that this is a technical glitch which everyone should be querying with their brokers/ authorities. The transitions are legit - Y'all focusing on the wrong thing!

If trading is halted you DONT get your money back on holding stock. When the trading resumes, market price discovery will set the new lower price and everyone sells to bail out. Prices crash. Unless there is glowing news. Is there? Your cashed out only if you own stock options, which is a different type of trade, with a contractual obligation to settle and pay out profits if they are in the money. Options are on a different market. This stock has no options as its price has been below the required minimum and it does not meet the exchange requirements to be listed on the CBOE for options trading.

Ticker TRIP (Tripadvisor) has a 94% Gross margin, ebitda 20% and net margin 8%. Its a completely diferent stock than this one. But if you searc for a stock by name alone - then the identical corporate names means someone bought the wrong stock - driving up this stock price. I am short this now.

Dow up 3% today or 700 pts, the Russell 2000 is up over 4%. BUT this stock is down 31.29% at the end of afterhours trading today. Anyone here still think this stock is going to go up? If so please download Ben Graham's book on your kindle and educate yourself. Thank you to the longs that bid this up to $110 where I started shorting. Thank you to the nameless person that let me borrow and sell your shares so I could short this. I hope everyone here learned a lesson!

Yesterday at 2:29 the purchased sold their mistake position in this stock. Looks like they had placed a number of orders that were executed in the morning. They drove the stock price up and then kept buying cause they saw the rise. Then at 2:29 pm realized their mistake and sold it all. Then day traders kept buying it so it remains at high levels. Prior days had trades of maybe 100 share per trade, very low volumn. Sell now if you have a profit. I have 40 years of trading experience. Please sell

B shares were going to be delisted per yesterdays 8k report to NASDAQ.

Item 3.01. Notice of Delisting or Failure to Satisfy a Continued Listing Rule or Standard; Transfer of Listing.

On April 14, 2020, Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) received a letter (the “MVPHS Notice”) from The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the market value of publicly held shares (“MVPHS”) of the Company’s Series B common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the “Series B common stock”), for the last 30 consecutive business days was less than $1 million, which is the minimum market value of publicly held shares (the “MVPHS Requirement”) necessary for the Series B common stock to qualify for continued listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5460(a)(2). Nasdaq generally defines “publicly held shares” as shares not held directly or indirectly by a director, officer or greater than 10% beneficial owner.

The MVPHS Notice does not result in the immediate delisting of the Company’s Series B common stock from the Nasdaq Global Select Market. In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(D), the Company has been provided 180 calendar days, or until October 12, 2020, to regain compliance with the MVPHS Requirement. To regain compliance, the MVPHS of the Company’s Series B common stock must be at least $1 million for at least ten consecutive business days during this 180-day period, at which point Nasdaq would provide written confirmation to the Company and close the matter.

The Company is presently evaluating its possible courses of action to regain compliance with the MVPHS Requirement. However, if the Company does not regain compliance within the 180-day compliance period, Nasdaq will provide notice to the Company that its Series B common stock is subject to delisting. In such event, Nasdaq’s rules permit the Company to appeal any delisting determination, but there can be no assurance the Nasdaq’s staff would grant the Company's request for continued listing. Alternatively, the Company may apply to have the Series B common stock quoted on the OTC Market. There can be no assurance that the Company will be able to regain compliance with the MVPHS requirement or maintain compliance with Nasdaq’s other continued listing requirements.

Why would a stock that advertises hotels go up 2000% in one day it just doesn't make any sense and why isn't this bigger news

No merger guys. And company released statement there is no reason fro this stock to be above the January level. Anyone holding this on the hopes it will merge is wrong. A merger cant take place when cruise lines Arbob and car rental agencies (Hertz) are bankrupt. First people to sell their shares will get out at the $34.00 level and the rest at the $5.00 level. Figure your potential losses and act accordingly. Dont think the NASDAQ is going to reimburse you for losses in this stock. they wont.

Centares didn't just "inject" 325 million $$. Centares forgave an outstanding 325 million dollar debt of LTRPB to them in exchange for some shares of the company. HUGE DIFFERENCE. LTRPB had a huge overwhelming debt - so they printed up a stock certificate and traded it to Certares for debt forgiveness. Using "stock" as money is only really valid in some cases. On a penny stock it is a bad sign. If it were Apple then a sign on a good transaction.
