Sleepy Joe does it again. He's
having a big conference at the W.H. with the semiconductor execs to discuss ways to increase semiconductor chips production in the U.S. He plans to give them $50B from the Stimulus bill to build plants in the USA. How come Donnie boy couldn't do that?

Yesterday, Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment appeared on CNBC and told viewers that things look very promising in L.V. He also said bookings for business conventions look very strong for the second half of 2021 and all of 2022.

It has been reported that the Chinese government will be creating a digital currency sometime in the near future. How that works out is anybody's guess. But this could potentially have a negative effect on "junket excursions" that rich and middle class Chinese gamblers prefer. This, in turn, could have a negative effect on the Macau casinos. With a digital currency, the Chinese government could regulate how much money a person can gamble with and how much a person has won, if successful. It would greatly curtail money laundering. It could also have a negative effect on LVS's Singapore casino operation.

Another strong day for the travel and leisure sector. The casino industry should do well this week and possibly the entire month. 1st quarter comps may be a little better especially for LVS. But it will be the guidance that could propel these stocks higher. It is true a case could be made that some of these stocks are overvalued, but with greater vaccination levels and another stimulus package on the horizon, the leisure sector could appreciate by as much 50%-60%. After all; it's all about shots in the arms and money in the pockets.

A segment of the new Georgia election prohibits the distribution of food or drink to persons waiting to vote. Mind you, this activity is permitted anytime, anywhere in the State of Georgia. Skippy applauds this prohibition. People should be made to suffer as much as possible before they cast their ballots.

The entire leisure and travel sector is rallying hard today. Almost all of the casino stocks are higher by more than 2% today. The $60 level seems to be strong support for LVS. Are you surprised? Had you tuned to Jim Cramer's show, Mad Money, last night, you would have found out about the "reopen trade". Lol.

LVS is trapped in the low $60's and does not seem to be able to break out. Everything I heard today and have read says Vegas in sold out and the lines are out the door. I expect LVS to easily reach $80 after the ER and will reach $100 by summer as long as management provides a positive outlook for the guidance.
Macau is and has been open and seeing huge gambling revenues so all signs point to a good move up as we go into ER.
AGAIN, guidance needs to be positive and management should not whimper and worry in their comments, Fauci and his minions need to go away and stop the gloom and doom comments, and our Democratic Administration leaders should tighten those masks into gags and stop the nonsense about 4th waves, and variants.

LVS has embarked on a media campaign to persuade Texas voters and legislators to permit large gaming companies to open casinos in Texas. It would probably include requests to permit on-line gambling.

A strong day for the travel and leisure sector today. That includes the casino stocks and certainly LVS. Lol.

Operation Warpspeed working perfectly. About 25% of the population has at least one shot. If this had to happen, we’re lucky it happened a year ago. If it happened now we’d be in big trouble. That aside, the reopening is moving nicely and the shows should be returning soon in Vegas. MGM, CZR and WYNN should be the biggest beneficiaries.

Amazing how LVS went down 10% in a week along with a lot of other reopening stocks. Just the ebb and flow of stocks while economies recover. Long term we'll do well with LVS.

With the stimulus checks hitting bank accounts, the casinos will soon benefit in a big way. And also sports and online betting. Lol.

The current administration is administering vaccine shots at a furious pace. US should be 80% vaccinated by July 1. Good for the casinos. Lol.

Caesars suing its insurance carriers for $2B after they refused to pay for pandemic-related losses. LVS and all others will follow. The flood gates are open and guess what: They will win. This will take years but there will likely be a huge influx of cash at some future point.
