On April 14, 2021, U.S. District Judge George C. Hanks Jr., issued an opinion denying defendants’ motion to dismiss the case. Specifically, the Judge found that McDermott International, Inc. must face a securities fraud suit over its acquisition of Chicago Bridge & Iron Co., denying its motion to dismiss and finding that stockholders sufficiently pled that proxy statements from McDermott were made “with actual knowledge that they were misleading.” The Opinion said McDermott cannot escape the allegations it concealed material problems with the integration of CB&I’s business and the likelihood that its Focus Projects would incur higher-than-expected costs.

Stock in McDermott is trading fodder only, never hold overnight. It might go up a bit, but a year or so from now it’ll be under a buck and reverse splitting to stay alive. Then comes bankruptcy #2

Looks like we’ll soon be trading at full value for this company, under a buck, a 10 for 1 reverse split in about 6 months, and that will be the terminator

The unethical ( a nice word for some serious A-holes) management and the BOD, cost me a bit of coin in the previous bankruptcy. (the next one is imminent I predict) I have not gone and matched the rosters, but I just have to believe that the same folks are leading this "new" ( laughing) company. I feel sad for the employees and all you new bag holders, but this company should be chased to zero. I see that there are still some legal issues pending from the "before" days (CB&I lies) but the truth of that is that only the lawyers will get paid... not a cent will trickle back to a combined group of investors who lost hundreds of millions of dollars on these clowns.... the individuals responsible for this are the ones who deserve to be bankrupt - not the company or the employees or the investors.... the greedy perpetrators who are still in charge - watch you back folks
