So this "janky" stock, out of the blue decided to merge, and the spike occurs. I did not see any merger news etc. Did someone see this coming?

Hmm, any reason for the price spike? Higher volume as well. Is this a low-supply reaction?

In this heavy. It’s a known runner. Oil being propped up on saudi minister calling out short sellers. Watch how this hits $6 and then you’ll come back and ask how I knew;)

I think in a short amount of time MCF Will take over the assets here,,, and use a combination of stock in cash for the purchase,, and since GOFF controls MCF also the deal would give him a larger percentage of Control at MCF just my opinion

    Just another bozo
Earnings were fine and debt payments continue to lower their debt/EBiTDA. The issue moving forward is that they are hedged at low relative values of $50-55 when the price of oil is near $70. Seems like they left a lot of money on the table by hedging at such low prices. They will make slow steady gains but could have done so much better.

considering past performance with high oil prices this one is certainly worth dipping the toes in. High reward versus risk

Not sure why this stock is so far down, looks like they are lowering debt and in the right direction.

Why is this so slammed? Will have positive free cash flow this year for sure, got credit line extended, where is the downside? I will grant that upside is limited for a while, but this seems ridiculous

Told you the price wasn't going to hold. Still settled higher than open, but even this price won't last. Take your profits. You might be able to make some money in the short-term, but MCEP isn't a winner in the mid- to long-term. There are plenty of other, more sensible options in this price range. For example, ENBL. The books look MUCH better, and they have a 12.45% dividend, which they still pay despite the downturn in the industry.

There are a lot of great buys, but especially with the amount of volatility in oil right now- buying *value* will make sure you keep your money.

So the oil prices are now supporting MCEP and relieving some of the risk of default. With the close of the sale of the OK properties and the hiring of a strategic advisor I see more upside here short term. We will need to have some details of the go forward plan if we are to go much further. Shorts will burn here and the pain will be severe.
