The world’s biggest casino company is still a great long-term buy.
With growth in Macau and two construction projects underway, the future is bright for Wynn Resorts.
Catching up with casinos this Tuesday, we have updates from Las Vegas to Macau and New Jersey to...Iowa. As for Las Vegas, Nomura Instinet's Harry Curtis and his team write that his firm's room rates survey shows positive year-over-year pricing and strengthening demand trends running through October. Curtis writes that that's especially good news for MGM Resorts (MGM), with rates trending higher: With seven weeks to go in the quarter, if sequential price momentum continues to improve, there may be room for modest upside to our third quarter Las Vegas revenue per available room (RevPAR) estimate of 2.7% year over year for MGM and guidance of 2% to 3%." Things were a little more subdued in Macau.
