    Princeton, N.J., Aug. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --  Mikros Systems Corporation (MKRS), an advanced technology company specializing in electronic systems technology for advanced maintenance in military, industrial and commercial applications, today announced financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018. Revenues for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018 were $2,242,211 and $4,732,771, respectively, compared to $1,740,863 and $3,495,836 for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2017, respectively, an increase of $501,248, or 29% for the second quarter, and an increase of $1,236,934, or 36% year-to date.  The increases were due primarily to a production order for 26 ADEPT® Units, and additional engineering services, calibration services support, and repairs.

    PRINCETON, N.J., July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikros Systems Corporation (MKRS), an advanced technology company specializing in electronic systems technology for advanced maintenance in military, industrial and commercial applications, announced today that effective July 9, 2018, Mikros Systems Quality Management System (QMS) was certified to be compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards.  The ISO audit found zero non-conformances at the Mikros facilities in both Fort Washington, PA and Largo, FL. Both facilities earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and have been audited and certified since that time by Orion Registrar Inc. Earlier this year, the Mikros QMS was also recertified by the Naval Sea Systems Command as compliant to NAVSEA quality specifications 9090-310F and standard item 009-04.

    Mikros Receives Additional Funding for Condition-Based Maintenance on the U.S. Navy's MK 99 Fire Control System

    PRINCETON, N.J., July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikros Systems Corporation (MKRS), an advanced technology company specializing in electronic systems technology for advanced maintenance in military, industrial and commercial applications, announced today that it has received a follow-on $2.5 million contract from the U.S. Navy to continue to develop its Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) systems for the Navy's MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS). Mikros is developing a new variant of its ADSSS system, an advanced network-based remote monitoring and maintenance system which collects performance data in real-time and uses it to detect and predict failures.   The ADSSS system, which recently received official Navy nomenclature as the AN/SYM-3, is currently used on the Navy's Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to monitor two other radars and combat system elements.  The new variant of the SYM-3, which will monitor the Director in the MK 99 system, has been in development since 2017.  The new contract award covers continued development, at-sea testing, and validation of the system.  Under this contract, Mikros' CBM technology will be used for the first time in the Navy's Aegis surface combatant fleet of destroyers and cruisers.
