Question, how many shares of MO do you own?

Hello all, I am curious to see how many people like myself own a 1000 or more share individually, I have 1667 so that I can collect $500 a month. Also, do you continue to grow your count or just collect the Divvy?
    Thanks!

Dividend Sensei said in the comment section of one of his articles that he's currently making 65K per year in dividends from MO, along with a ton of dividends from other companies. Just a few years ago, in a comment section, before he became a writer and had his own newsletter, he said he was dead broke, going through a nasty divorce and living off of the grid.

Where did he all of the sudden get this money? Seems like a total scam to sell subscriptions to me.

Altria stock has never had this high yield ever over the past 20 years except during the corona scare of 2020 and now. Now is the time to lock in a high yield in MO the best performing stock of the last 50 years [Alongside Berkshire Hathaway stock].

Hopefully management is buying back stock aggressively here. They also need to get off IQOS and move into vaping, gum, pouchs. Purschase Cronos in full.

There is no better time to buy back than right now.
With all the chicanery by the administration and the FDA indecisions, they have succeeded in making MO a big enough loser for those who bought last spring, to do tax loss harvesting this December.
Is management taking advantage of the opportunity?
As a shareholder, I surely hope so. Those remaining billions can buy way more shares now than they will buy in the spring.

GOP Congresswoman Mace introduced a bill 11/15 to decriminalize marijuana at the Fed level. A Fed tax of 3% would be added. Once Fed gets a taste of the $$$, expect expansion, not contraction of the market. CRON and the inevitable tob/mj blends makes for MO look quite attractive. Good luck longs

I would like to expressly thank the "" specialists "" present in the forum (for example DB) for making us happy with completely nonsensical messages on the dividends point ....
To this day it is neither a further increase, and certainly not a dividend cut in discussion or announced!
There are certainly very few companies in the economy (not only in the tobacco industry) that have been paying their dividends absolutely reliably and on time with a relative increase for over 50 years. In return for the steadily rising dividends (and these are phenomenal!), We as investors at Altria accept a modest price increase, and we are also aware that the extreme share performance from the period between 1985 and 2005 and 2009 to 2017 is not for us the future must be repeatable. Even if I would of course look forward to a corresponding increase in the course :)

One should simply hold back on alienating remarks that would ultimately affect billions of dollars in dividends paid to shareholders. Of course, there are always guys who enjoy the reactions of others ...

One should also not forget that many investors who invest their money in dividend stocks want to or have to cover part or all of their income from it for their future expenses.

Altria is not a REIT whose dividends are often well over 10 percent, but in return, in most cases, at least in the case of mortgage REITs, they only trade in the debts of others. So apart from promissory notes and mortgage loans, you have no substantial assets.
I am absolutely not against REITs because I have some in my depot myself. And they also have their absolute justification in the financial world.
But Altria owns and sells tangible goods, and does not just trade in other people's money.
MO plays in a completely different league with some others when it comes to profits, protection of the same, as well as the "" reward of their shareholders "".

We certainly no longer have the brilliant times of the last century in the tobacco sector.
And I was just as upset when Altria got involved in JUUL, and especially in Cronos. This money could certainly have been better invested. But despite everything, I also have confidence in the work of the company management.

Because, by the way, the crash of CRONOS is costing us today and in the past few days an enormous loss in value of our stake in this company ......
Since February 2021, Cronos has lost 60% of its market value.
And honestly. I still don't know what this experiment will bring us .............

Good luck to everyone invested :)
