Fiscal 2023 EBITDA guidance midpoint of $187M should be around $1.90 EPS.
What multiple do we put on that, similar to Trane & Carrier? Its certainly no auto parts company now.

Conf. Call. : Share repurchase plan reinstituted. Beginning this quarter.

Beautiful movement. Coordinated shorts trying to jump onboard and just getting clobbered along the way!

Hanging in there, I believe this new management team will produce! Its been a tough couple of years for them in new jobs here.

Great quarter, $12.00 here we come

Finally!

Don’t bet against the 80/20. $MOD
Bullish

In at $8.15 just now. Know it will be a long term hold but I really like what they are trying to do strategically, and hope that their debt level is low enough to allow them the runway to pull it off…

We're extremely pleased with the positioning we took in MOD in early Oct. '21 (avg. basis = $7.19) .... just an FYI, using the same criteria/requirements which we used to locate MOD, we've found another great mid-size Company in the "value" manufacturing sector. It's Hurco, Inc. out of Indianapolis (HURC). With 25% of its Market cap held in cash and trading @ around 5X the net cash generated ... we believe it's a fantastic BUY ... similar to the "signals" used on taking our MOD position. Take a look at them. It's a very quiet Company that has fantastic financial discipline and it's beginning to scale.

Snagged some shares after hours with a limit at $9.65. Didn’t think that would work. Seriously undervalued company. Continuously penalized for the automotive business.

of course the stock price tanks with good ER. Same with my other companies today. -8% AH, WTH?

Fantastic setup here! Just wait until MOD announces their partnership(s) for hydrogen trucks.

the new stimulus Bill includes huge amounts for new HVAC systems in public schools. modine stands ready to serve.

Bought a lot of MOD under $6.00 recently. Consensus for Sept Q is $.08, I think MOD could be $.12 or better. Sales estimate is $395, whereas I think they could be closer to $420 million. 3rdQ and 4th Qs should be sequentially higher.
Sale of HDE division could be $100-$200 million or $2.00-$4.00/share. When that is done, the stock could jump by that amount, the rest of the business is worth $10/share. So buying under $6.00 for a company a year from now could be worth $12-$14/share.

Last year Chicago-based Madison Industries acquired Modine competitor Nortek Air Management for $3.6B. That was 2.3X Nortek sales of $1.58B and 12.5X Adjusted EBITDA of $290M.
With sales of $2B and 2022 guidance of Adjusted EBITDA of $170-$185M and Net debt of $297M; what's Modine really worth? A lot more than the $440M market cap suggests, I think.
T
Guidance of 1.55 to 1.70 full year EPS. Should trade around $17-18 with a 10-12x multiple.
Bullish

As goes $CARR so goes $MOD. Looking strong in HVAC and with Biden’s approach to American made $MOD is a strong winner now and in the foreseeable future.
Bullish

Never bet against a quality WI-based manufacturer!!

Bought more this morning and am averaging up a bit. Lots of room to the upside. Finally announced their EV division but a little too late as investors seem bored with $MOD. Good time to back up the wheelbarrow.
