Successful people don’t become that way overnight. What most people see at glance-wealth, a great career,purpose-is the results of hard work and hustle over time.

After UHS + HCA warnings, I don't feel good about MPW. I am not even going to guess the bottom.

There really isn’t much MPW can do but to keep collecting rents and paying out a gigantic dividend. The market is so pessimistic that even Heath Care stocks are getting tossed out. You would think that the last sector Powell wants to implode would be Health Care.

I tried shorting more this morning but got burned again so had to sell at 3:59 for a $5K loss. Will continue to short until it hits $20.

Just bought more at $15.34. Hovering around 2,000 shares. MPW can stay still all it wants while I enjoy that healthy dividend reinvesting for a few decades
    Bullish

Issuing a profit warning and not paying rent are 2 completely different things. :-)

MPW projected to have FFO of 1.83 per share this year, while paying out 1.2 in dividends. That’s a 63% payout ratio. The speculation can end - this dividend is not getting cut anytime soon.

More than 10,000 people turn 65 every day now in the Inited States alone. These people need income, income growth……..and hospitals to perform the many procedures that they have waited for Medicare to have done. This

This is looking like a big weekend for Acute Care Hospitals. Lots of people blowing their fingers off and getting severely burned with illegal fireworks. I’m hearing lots of ambulances running code today…….things are looking up. :-)

I will probably buy more if/when it gets back to low 14s

Chairman and CEO Ed Aldag stated in Medical Properties Trust's first-quarter conference call in April that the company "is in the strongest position in its history." That's not an exaggeration.

Medical Properties Trust has a healthy balance sheet that's been fortified even more by recent property divestitures. It's also well positioned to handle high inflation rates with the annual cash rent increases built into its leases. Investors should easily generate significant passive income with this high-yield dividend stock.

When the ETFs stop their indiscriminate selling, and the computer program selling abates…….MPW will tootle right back up to $24. The opportunity for individual investors to lock in an 8% dividend yield and have a very good possibility of a 40% capital gain as the economy normalizes is very possible. The total return could easily be over 24% per year for the next two years. I don’t know how you pass this up. :-)

This stock has dropped from $24 to just above $14. That is over 40% and I can't find a reason. They will post good earnings. There isn't a lawsuit of any kind. Nobody died! What is the reason everybody wants out?
