at 11:15 am on CNBC's Tech Check this morning, they gave MRVL a nice plug with a Piper Sandler spokesman saying they are standing off from AMD and favor NVDA and MRVL for faster growth and higher EP ratio plus MRVL being better situated in 5g. this lasted at least 5 minutes with MRVL chart up on the screen.. I would NOT sell MRVL.. Very good things to come starting with earnings on March 2nd.

Relax, this is just a pure correction, not considered a major downturn like 2020 pandemic nor 2008 financial crisis. See and compare the charts set at full max to convince yourselves. Not even close. Even CNBC’s top dog Cramer sees the bottom is very near to start his buying frenzy soon. I would start buying now before he does to avoid getting stampeded by the crowds.Besides, you are suppose to buy when others are fearful. Now is the time.

we held up so well all day... sad to see it finally succumb at the end.. but today's performance most of the day given the market is telling.. We will certainly be back in a big way . Don't forget about 3/2.

How many ways can one say bludgeoned today? Cannot justify this price for MRVL. ITs now about the price before the last earnings report. Im so aggravated. I went all in on this stock, and I have no more money to put in. I can buy on margin and risk losing even more.

We just need some sort of great press about MRVL.. news of a partnership or alliance with another big name.. a major chip sale, or an acquisition.. something ahead of the ER. All of these wonderful PTs are falling on deaf ears.. We need to hear about something great FROM MRVL. Common Matt Murphy, make your magic!

Marvell is currently and unfortunately a dead-cat-bounce. Blame it all to the MM and professional shorts who tank purposely. There is no need for this current outcome. If you let the Fed do it’s job, the economy alone should adjust accordingly and smoothly if you have no market interference from big time manipulators. This is the biggest enemy that small investors always have to face. That’s why the price of a good company does not usually go straight up because there’s always somebody who wants to take it down.

Looks like the Markets over corrected yesterday, and we are getting a bounce today.

Being in tech is certainly not the favored position to be in right now…I am trying to just hold on with what I have as we all are— been seeing the continuous sell-off for the past month- frightening! Need to sleep at night occasionally—lol

Nasdaq broke the 14,200 support. Next support is 13,200. Not sure it makes it the whole way, but something to watch for. MRVL is actually holding up fairly well. Hopefully no one got caught in that bull trap this morning buying more. 😬
Decent support at 70.86 for MRVL, if it breaks that it's likely headed to low 60's. I'll buy more there. At least it will be close to the bottom anyway.

For those sitting on the sideline who claim to have solid cash with some dry powder, good luck timing the market. What goes around comes around. There’s volatility on the downturn, but there’s also uncertainty and volatility when the bottom and the upturn has already arrived and passed you by your rear view mirror. What are your overall strategies on that? Let’s hear it. I’m sure you heard of FOMO. The ultimate question and challenge is “Will you be ready?”.

Give credit and shutout still to the economy as JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is upbeat about the U.S. economy calling the results “solid”, noting that it “continues to do quite well” despite the difficulties caused by the spread of the omicron variant of COVID-19, inflation, and supply-chain bottlenecks. He added his company is optimistic about the economic expansion as business sentiment is positive and consumers are benefiting from higher wage and job growth. Wow, impressive so far into the start of the year.

Why Jim Cramer Is Adding To His Marvell Technology Position Today
    Mentioned: MRVL
High-growth technology stocks have faced selling pressure in recent months as investors anticipate a rising-rates environment in 2022. Rising interest rates lead to higher bond yields, as seen with the recent surge in the U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yield.

Although Jim Cramer said he has avoided buying stocks in the tech sector since late November, he put an end to the hiatus with his purchase of Marvell Technology Inc (NASDAQ: MRVL) Monday.

"We think MRVL's decline is getting overdone," Cramer said Monday in a letter to members of CNBC's "Investing Club."

Cramer reminded club members that he trimmed his Marvell position around $92 at the beginning of December after the stock rallied roughly 30% in three days.

"This was a tough sale to make because of MRVL's peer leading growth rate and exposure to secular themes in the cloud, 5G and auto â?? but our discipline said it was time to book profits after a rally of that magnitude," Cramer said.
