Gold holding up rather well, inflation heating up big time, Joe and da ho' in the White House, and Metallla DOWN FORTY PERCENT since the start of the year! Was Bernie Madoff secretly named CEO when no one was looking?

It's been life during wartime for all my PM stocks since 2011. Streamers have held up the best, I must say. Accumulating on dips has worked over the ten year period. There are no patterns, though there are a lot of windbags out there pushing their theories. It's all dependent on the macro economic situation. Figure if it works for the big banksters to let em run up, they'll run up, sometimes in a big way. My focus is on trying to understand when it will be in the best interest of the crooks to have the metals run up. It's been hard this period. This latest "inflation up, metals down" paradigm is altogether new and will keep me busy.

This stock looks poised to make a sharp rebound. The last of the weak hands are being culled out now. It has been hit much harder than its peers* and, barring any continued decline in precious metals, should do really well once this slump (bloodbath) is finished. *Compare how much higher SAND, FNV, WPM and others are from their early March lows.

MTA and gold should do well in the 3rd and 4th quarter after the debt ceiling is lifted and other federal debts are added to the national debt.

Adding more. I sold a few puts on MTA. I will fully pocket the premiums in August, and if MTA's price is still at these levels I will automatically have more shares transferred to me at the put prices. I will happily accept them. Cheers.

It’s a shame the Wall Street bet crowd doesn’t pump these miner/royalty stocks. Maybe they will one day
Here’s why they/we should: the market cap of all the miners combined is less than doge coin, a worthless meme coin. See what I’m getting at?? We need to find someone with influence to pump these on wall street bets and the returns would be INSANE

So happy for the sale a few weeks back (and it was because of an awesome acquisition!!) I explained to a co-worker that this one was "on sale" from its highs and aside from being a value play it has the longer term acceleration boost that will be activated when the cash flow improves... not an "if", but a when!! Not too many companies can look forward to a lazy increase to a firehose of profits down the line. Good Trading/"holding" on this one. I decided to make this one of my core portfolio positions after researching it and listening to EB explain things a couple times. Makes perfect sense to me! and I'm glad it was overlooked a few weeks back. Cheers to the happy road ahead!

For everyone here, there seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding on how royalties work and how the business model is built. You can’t build a great company today by just packing in cash flow on low quality assets and counter parties. In another 5 years a lot of theses assets will be in production. Locking in these high quality assets at accretive prices today for the future is what’s generating all the value. It takes time, patience, and vision to build another Franco, and by negotiating great deals now for big pay days in the future is why they have led the pack in the royalty space. Think about amazon, for decades they have very little or negative net income. Investors were kicking and screaming. Bezos was investing in the infrastructure laying the foundation for the whole prime model. Now you see why, but investors that understood the model were rewarded handsomely. If you look at the numbers as a traditional short term investment you are missing the whole point. Royalties are long term investments and build value with time.

The reason for the sell off was that Eric Fry suggested that his newsletter readers should sell. The price had fallen 15% from its high and he had set a protective stop at 15% down. The email from him went out mid morning and MTA immediately started to drop. I picked up another 6K shares. I've had several stocks decline lately after they hit trailing stop loss orders like this. I prefer to take profits on the way up rather than the way down because, like today, stop loss selling can really push the price down.
