Just returned from a 7 day cruise NYC to Bermuda on the NCL Joy. Ship was near capacity and in great shape, full crew on board, a good time had by all.

Inflation and capacity adjusted forward PE for NCLH currently stands around 4.8. Before pandemic, PE used to be at 12-13 levels. Current prices are still unmissable for me.

The CPI report next week will almost certainly show that inflation has rolled over. If this is the case, it would be super strange if August’s CPI doesn’t show a decline too which will mean that the Fed will have 2 consecutive declining CPI reports by the time they meet in September so I can’t imagine they’d react to that situation with another large rate increase, it wouldn’t make sense. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the rate hikes are done but I do think they are done for the next 2-3 months which should provide an ideal environment for Norwegian to roll up during that period.

I wouldn't get too excited over the earnings on August 9th, they will still be posting a loss. But, if things stay steady with no major events. I am really anticipating November and February earnings. They should be back in the positive but with a large debt. Once they put a dent in that debt, it's off to the races. Shorts will have no choice but to cover. By May of 2023 this stock will easily be in the 30's if not higher. That's more than double your money in 9 months. Im long and looking forward to a nice payday.

Quick question, as a perk, if you own 100+ shares of NCL, you get a ship board credit. Do you send your whole financial statement? Or can I send just 1 page of the statement showing my shares? Thank you

Norwegian “reached 100% capacity of its 28-ship fleet May 7.
Bookings for 2023 were trending positive by the end of its first quarter, with both pricing and booking volumes pacing higher than before the pandemic.”

    It’s looking good for longs.

Tigress Financial Chief Investment Officer Ivan Feinseth was interviewed on Cheddar TV today and said that the biggest issue for cruise companies moving forward is having enough capacity to meet the huge demand for cruising. He then went on to say that of the three big cruise companies, Norwegian (NCLH) is the best set up to succeed because it has 8 new ships representing 50% more capacity coming on line in the next 5 years.

Just read the Aug.2 article on the new options on Norwegian Prima. Unfortunately I’m disappointed. It looks like they will be focusing more on their specialty restaurants, while really standardizing the choices in their (free) main dining rooms. I can see how that makes good sense from a shareholder viewpoint. But from a passenger viewpoint, it’s a disappointment. It doesn’t sound like anything that would entice me to choose Norwegian over a line that has more passenger choices included in the base cost. Nobody wants to feel like they’re limited to dormitory food on a cruise. That’s how you feel when you go to a buffet with limited choices, or a main dining room that has the same menu seven nights per week. Like I said, I’m disappointed in what I read about the direction the fleet is moving re: food.
